- Welcome to today's episode where Alex shows you how to build your own Ambi-Light setup similar to Philips Hue and Govee, where the LED strip will mirror what is on the display. Massive thanks to Panasonic for supporting the project - Check out the MZ800 here: panasonicdirect.store.panason...
Check out our WLED Setup video for a more in-depth look at WLED Setup: • I’m Never Buying LEDs ...

This is an 8 minute advert for a Panasonic TV - the genuinely interesting tech here (HyperHDR) you spend seconds explaining and dont go into detail about the capture method you are using.
Can you make a more detailed video with less sponsor push?
exactly this!
100% agreed.. the title of the video should be changed.. 👎🫣
Agreed too. Would love to see the actual workings of it.
Yeaaaaa the thing missing in the description is the capture device
Misleading video, the video output from the tv isn't from the native tv source itself, you used a pc or something as the input hence why you were able to do screen capture as the led input on hypehdr. You touched on this part for about 10 seconds of the video. This solution doesn't replace the expensive solutions out there, as if you were honest you should've included the price of the pc or whatever it was to do what the title and majority of the video claimed. Think you need an updated video showing the full solution to replace the expensive solution
spot on. I made a similar mistake with a company LED and it does not capture TV
Just setup WLEDs a week ago and here you are making a video about it xD
If by budget you meant cheap and nasty you nailed it especially with that grey back panel
What about video that is directly played on the TV?
Great video Alex!
Thank you Alex.
manufacturers are really going to town and spending thousands on making the bezels non existant or as thin as possible, yet with that back board you fitted it now looks seriously huge, did i miss the point in why it was so big? i mean great wled kit etc, and brilliant video and tutorial, but now you have a massive border from the tv to the wall. What did i misss?
Excactly!
Do you need to keep a PC or something close to connect to the tv
Hi Mate, I hope you can give a clue... which tv is the best smart tv or android tv? I plan yo buy 50 inch tv anyway.
Sony if you want expensive TV, Panasonic is good budget option
Just buy a tv and buy google chombox 4k.
Faster than most tv.
U can take it everywhere
And u can upgrade cheaper than a tv.
Its android tv works perfectly
sub £1000? says £1,562.99 on your link, where did you get yours? i guess the offer finished already if was from that link
Seriously considered, going the wled route. But, for the price of £50-something for Govee t2 pro on ebay new it is unmatched for its simplicity and not needing a capture card or a rooted tv. I know camera can be annoying, but you forget about it within an hour. Takes less than 15 mins to setup and calibrate and works simply amazingly.
need a video on how to download hyperhdr
Good video bro .. please ignore all the haters in the comments .. most of them are little weasels .. believe ..
Yea I’m gona trying capture thing on my set up still..
Love and blessings 👊🏾
Try the new tp link wifi deco 85
The final result looks absolutely stunning!
But does it support Home Assistant? That’s the real question
Yes WLED works well with home assistant
cold
You’ve let yourself go mate. Hit the gym chubbs
Paint of coat😂😂
That back panel looks awful.
