Why was this series never exposed to the rest of SA and the world? I have never seen so much historical and real Afrikana information...it is absolute awesome.
Thanks Niel - it was a pilot project and one that I hoped would be picked up so that I could continue telling these stories and meeting the incredible people that make South Africa so special. As it stands, I am working to get some funding together for a new season but that's not easy either. Really glad you enjoyed it...it was a brilliant experience for me

Whats the name of the place? There is a place I have visiting a few times with a wrap around verandah on the main street - great coffee and lovely arts and crafts to browse - pretty sure its hers! Will pop in on my next visit...

My mom lives in De Rust. She has an art galery, coffee shop and a few rooms for owernighters. It is a lovely little town.
