Simply, take the power cord off from the socket. On the relay tap multiple times the back of screw driver. Sometime due to magnetizing heat, relay terminal won't open. This is how you could fix for free.
My dryer was working properly and suddenly started with the problem of the spinning after the cycle ends. I disconnected, no luck..... I assume could be the control board as you mentioned. My question is the following.... This problem with the control board could affect the heating?? The dryer is warming the clothes but not drying. I'm not sure if the heating element could be a 2nd issue. Everything started after the board issue. Thank you
Hi Arnaldo, Thanks for reaching out! I have a few questions for you: 1. When the drum is spinning and you open the door, does the drum stop spinning? Also, make sure "Wrinkle Prevent" is NOT turned on. This is a feature that will periodically tumble the clothes once the cycle is done to keep them from wrinkling Control boards CAN affect the heating cycle, however, if you have even a little bit of heat and the clothes are coming out damp this is likely because you need to clean out your ventilation. I would do this asap. This is because a clogged vent is the number one thing that causes a dryer to stop heating. If you have heat, I can almost guarantee it is not the control board or your heater. Most likely just clogged ventilation. Hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
