I love Scotland! my friend and I spent 2 weeks there last year, road tripping around, but we never made it to Glascow. There were so many things we didnt get to see while we were there. I feel like I'll have to go back sometime to see all of the rest of the things we missed. My friend would LOVE doing the mural walk! That is right up her alley!

Glasgow is a cool city, I have only been there and that was for work. But from what I saw, it was a lovely city. This is an excellent guide and I am glad you guys enjoyed yourselves. You were lucky to have the good weather too!
Those murals are incredible! Love the bridge. You had such nice weather. Never heard of the Lighthouse. So cool to check out. Now I need to watch Cloud Atlas!

As a Glaswegian born in Glasgow
I read your comment, Glasgow is a very poor city out with the tourist hotspots. Our architecture and past is stunning but as for the City itself, it is a total dump. This city is no longer for Glaswegians it is for Students and for the Wealthy. Tourists only see the good bits but dig a bit deeper people will see a deprived , poor city with whole communities missing out on opportunities because there is no funding for ordinary working people all geared towards tourists presenting Glasgow as a great city.. Not true.

Amazing! Thank you! We did have a really lovely time in Glasgow and it really makes us want to come back for more. We only really had one full day (once we got over our jet lag!) before we headed off for the rest of our road trip around Scotland. Definitely not enough time! We'll be back! ☺
I hope to travel there one day! You really were able to see some nice places on your one day stop in Glasgow. How many other places did you stop while in Scotland?
Also, the cemetery seems cool. It’s also weird to recommend a cemetery. But you never know what beauty may lay inside a place where people are resting. I had to change my outlook on that when finding two hidden gem cemeteries where I live.
