I've been installing this flooring in houses for the past four years. You do a great job explaining little nuances I often forget to edify new people about. I will start referring your videos so I don't miss something. I wish you had these flooring videos four years ago when I did the first customer's home.
Awesome vid! The only other option would be to pull up everything to that point, a huge pain! I would also recommend a plastic underlayment for moisture prevention if starting the job new.
Good stuff. There's a lot of videos on how to install flooring around the doors, but few, if any, on how to correct those issues, if you didn't do it right in the first place. I'll think about this, though. It looks like I could make the problem even worse if I don't do this right Thanks for sharing.
Hey been loving your content and seeing your projects. Found your channel from one of your earlier vinyl plank repair videos. Your tips and advice helped me out a lot with my flooring repair and I started some electrical projects after seeing your videos. Much appreciated and can't wait to see where your channel grows to! 👊
I love this, but do you have any suggestions on how to fix these types of issues if you don't have access to the same boards? Say, they're discontinued etc
Thank you! Unfortunately I don’t have the answer to this. The best you can do is find the similar type and try to match. You can also try to contact the manufacturer to see if they might have any in stock. For future note, I always buy 4-5 boxes of extra material incase I need to do repairs on my flooring 🙏🏽 I’m sorry I couldn’t be much of help 🥲

Great trick with the suction cup, I'll be using that one!!!
Thank you 🙏🏽! That suction cup is a must!
Why ? Since this is a SCRAP element, why just not cut it in half ....
I saw another video where he used a small hand plane to take off that lip with out damaging the flooring. I used it and it worked great.
Thanks alot for making all those vudeos
You are very welcome! 🙏🏽😊 thank you for your support!

@@FixThisHouse If you are lucky - sometimes you can transfer a piece out of the back of a closet , if the floor was done in there as well.
Awesome video!
Thank you so much! 🙏🏽
Can you share the LVP brand?

Thank you 🙏🏽!
Cool!!!!
WOW
Thank you 🙏🏽
Why, why didn't you cut this thing in half and pull it out in 1 minute, instead of using this sucky sucky device ? Can't get this :-O
I love watching YT - But watching you right now was like getting my teeth cleaned ! HURTS !
😂, thank you for your feedback my friend 🙏🏽
fudge
Ok lol
Best way to fix is is to cut a new piece and don't advance
Are you talking about initial install or existing like what I had?
@@FixThisHouse I'm talking for initial install. If you are fixing after the fact then your video is 👍
