My wife and I just purchased the expression extreme with the add on two up seat. What a wonderful machine to ride. We enjoy it so much. I had to add the 12v port and change out the tow bar.
Waiting on my new 2022 Skandic 900 ace to come in. Feels like it’s taking forever. I currently have a 2006 skandic 550F. Great machine just has a load of miles and prior owner let it sit to long. It came with my property.
We hardly have much snow here in the interior so we have only been out a few times, how about where your at? Would you even be able to ride the new sled.
@@practicalporters that’s not good. I really hope my sled gets in soon. My wood fired cook stove will be delivered in a week or so. I fear the moving of that from the railroad tracks to the cabin will kill my Skandic 550f
@@curmudgeinnak yikes, you really need it.... Be careful though, the break in period is very specific about no heavy loads for at least 1 full tank of fuel. Maybe 2, but can't recall.
Yes yes yes. I have to break in the engine first. I can't wait to use this thing as it was made to do. Posting new videos tonight of 12 inch fresh snow we just got. Wowo what a blessing from Jesus, amazing to get this much this early in the winter.
Well done for your videos. I ordered a 600EFI for the 2021-22 season. According to you is it possible for the dealer to install a socket for a heated passenger helmet and heated grips, also
Congrats Please tell me how you like the 2 stoke. If your in Alaska come try mine and compare. When did they say it was coming in? Yes most dealers can do all that add on's for you.
@@1957brun OK, I understand now. Yes, they should be happy to install. Consider letting them know in advance and they can do it before you pick it up.... Cheers to Quebec from Alaska
I just got my 2021 Exp Sport with the 600ace. I’m in Fairbanks as well still trying to break in my motor but unfortunately mine gets 29mpg. 200 miles and only 1 tank full used so far. Frustrating in good way. Considering I came from a SWT 550F that got 6mpg!
Wow, that's wonderful to hear. If you want to ride the 2 Rivers trails that is part of the Chena River State Park trails we could ride together some time. Cheers and welcome to the 4 stroke club.
Its great for narrow trees and powder but wants to kill you on uneven or sloped hard pack trails. I am putting wider dual skag skies on it soon. Video comparison soon to come. Cheers from Alaska. The expedition is much better for trail stability.
Ted, good eye. I was wondering when someone would notice that. Works great. Hauled alot with it after break in and works much better than I expected. I'll do a video on it soon.
Now at 2000 miles and riding with larger machines in the snowmobile clubs I've pulled and done all they do and more as it's lighter and more agile. Very dependent on how well your ride. I've lots to learn but have been in class 19 years.
Loved the video, nice walk through, I told my wife lets enjoy the nice Christian life, but you'll have to submit to leadership. Now I'm in the dog house and have to wait another 6 months before I can buy my sled, lol.
6 months is great... wish I would have kept my bad habits of not submitting to Jesus to that short of a time! I made a profession of being a jerk to my wife and kids because I thought Jesus was too picky about sin. Check out David Pawson in my playlist under the NORMAL CHRISTIAN BIRTH... very helpful. Cheers, hope to see you on the trails.
Never ridden a newer Tundra but this Skandic is deadly. The Expedition is much more stable. I plan on getting wider skies with 2x skags . They say it helps alot. But I bought Skandic for tight tree riding in deep snow and there it is perfect. On trails its good, on sloped hard pack roads its deadly.
I've always wondered that. Never ridden one. I don't see anyone here using ATV conversion kits out in the wild. Around home yes, plowing and simple things. Groomers and tracked vehicles seem popular at a large commercial size for snow. But smaller sleds are everywhere here, especially in villages.
I'm at 8 tips that would have never happened with A arm suspension But...... I can go many places A arm machines can't as well as very slowly. The large uninterrupted belly pan is a huge floating boat on soft snow that A arms sink in. So...I've adapted and got better skies up-front See my other videos about Simmons skies that made huge differences. Cheers.

@@practicalporters this is a crazy world. Love you videos. I live in east coast canada. We don’t have the cold so our skidooing is a bit spotty. I had a 600 ACE for one year on a long track Tundra. Get that baby in the slush pulling an ice fishing sleigh and off to the dealer for a 600 etec.
It’s easier to remove the muffler than the plastics to access the oil filter. Four springs, I believe
