I’ll never understand why folks delete the Xpipe not only do you lose power but a significant amount of low end torque. There’s a reason why no OEM or aftermarket company includes H pipes with their cat back systems.
Question. What about aftermarket X-Pipe? Is it bad too? Yes nothing wrong with factory X-Pipes but I’m just asking a question.
The x pipes aren’t baffled aftermarket or oem. So long as they are the same size it really doesn’t matter for performance. What it can help with is weight,looks and or heat depending on material choice. Aftermarket sells crap just like they sell good items as well. Depends on your application. If you were to save money just keep the OEM exaust and just put a good muffler on then cut the cats off and get some jba off road pipes with some recessed o2 sensors. Spend the extra money on equal length long tube header. Also one step closer to having an e85 tune after pumps and then injectors and gain some weight reduction in the process.
The Solo cat back system on my 14 Charger RT has an H pipe.
The truck has 700hp I don’t think it’s really gonna matter that much
H pipes and X Pipes do the same thing just differently, the H leans towards low end torque and a deeper choppy tone, the X is higher pitched and more uniform with power benefitting on the high end
Regardless true duals rob power due to a lack of scavenging and I imagine pulses reverberating.

As a TRX owner for a year and a half, I'm about ready to do something with the stock exhaust. The cab is pretty quiet, so you can't really hear it much while driving.
@@J92-11B remove the mid resonators and put in a high flow. That was enough for me, sound great.

As a TRX owner my self, I did it because I want the attention. I want people to stair at my car. If someone doesn’t know I drive a TRX, with these mods they definitely will know, or at least get curious.

Had my srt jeep straight, and I'll never do that again without the x pipe and at least a dynomax race muffler. That small town blue collar life at 4 am doesn't make anyone happy.

More flowing air means more air in quicker and out quicker so you'd pick up somet like 10-15hp
