That is beautiful. It turned out really great. Thanks for sharing it with us and have a good one.
@@toolscouter I truly appreciate the kind words. Hope you have a great week.
Very cool restoration Ryan. That is a cool little baby Wilton. I have used the Rustoleum sage green on some of my restorations. It looks great on vises and grinders. Nicely done
@ivanstiles7030 I truly appreciate that. I completely agree, the Rustolium Sage green really looks nice on projects.
Very nice I really like how it turned out that is cool ,you do great work .
Thank you Jeffery, I truly appreciate that.
Excellent work as always.
I truly appreciate that. Thank you for checking out the video.
Really nice job on that baby Wilton. I'm a bit of a vise aficionado myself and I'm into Record vises. I have a York 80 which is based on the Wilton, I believe.
@jt9498 thank you. I also have a 80mm York. I did a presentation video on it. The guy who started the Wilton vise company worked for York, then moved to the US and basically changed the design. At least that's how I understand it. Thanks for watching.
Great work dude 😊😊
@MASI_forging thank you very much. I appreciate you checking out the video.
Awesome job! Maybe I missed but what did you use for the browning solution?
@scottkershaw8411 I apologize I don't remember the name of it. I will find out for you. Honestly any gunsmithing cold brown solution should work.
Where you ever into model building? Random question I know. But we have similar taste. I build battle damaged gundam and you essentially just did the same process as me when it comes to robots 😅
Yes, when I was younger, I built all kinds of models. Fighter planes, Tanks, Dragsters, Hot rods you name it
This little vise came out great man! Home run!
Thanks man. I truly appreciate that.
What a great vise, and superb job on the restoration. It looks perfect along side the 600. Lots of detail work into getting that finish and it looks awesome. I have a small one (I think its a 930) that is missing the base and the dust cap. Have it cleaned up just trying to decide what to do with it, so it just sits!
@westhighlandsshop I truly appreciate that David. I know where you might be able to find a base if interested. I also think the auto parts store may have larger freez plugs that may fit for a substitute dust cap.
That is awesome!!!!!! now I want one!, I just bought a Reed #4c vise today, have to pick it up tomorrow!
@djstoolrestorations Reeds are fantastic vises. I hope to have one some day. I would not mind a Reedsman either
@@_BigLife_ Ok, I made a video on that vise it is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@djstoolrestorations I don't know how I missed that but I will check it out.
And now I need one of those here lol….nice work man👍
I never thought I would find one. I'm glad you like how it turned out and appreciate you watching.
