Just so you know, you are very rapidly becoming my favorite author. I really, really, REALLY like your stories and characters! Thank you for posting a new story. On my day off of all days😃. ( I'm doing my happy dance) Going to start listening to it now. 🙏
Thank you so much for this lovely story. You gave me 8 hours of "holidays from my 24/7/365 sickbed reality". What a wonderful way to start a new year. I enjoyed your book (like all of your books) so very much. Your characters are real; you create them with so much thoughtfulness and love for them - flaws and all. I wish you and everyone on here a truly happy new year 🙋🏻♀ Lisa
I just LOVE how all of your books explore the same friendships, circumstances, and characters . Listening to each new story fills in another piece of the unlimited puzzle. Thank you for providing these delightful books here on UA-cam ❤
Oh my goodness , it is so frustrating when people do not just talk to each other. But it is well written thank you so much. I have so much enjoyed this book
I don't want to leak any spoilers, but I have this random question. In Chapter 21, it is mentioned that it is the law to attend church on Sunday. It was the Law?? 😮 When did that go away? I have many questions about it as I have never known this was a Regency/Victorian law.
When I saw your question I was really confused as it wasn't the law to attend church, so I opened up the manuscript to see what was written, and I think this is simple misunderstanding. I think the line you're referring to is: "The Lord required attendance at church, but He did not require one to enjoy it..." I'm not sure if it was confusing with the British accent as that has been known to cause mistakes with my non-British listeners from time to time (like I had someone claim I used the word "barf" in one book, but it was actually "bath"...Lol!). Or perhaps you though it meant lord as in the British aristocracy. But this refers to the Lord as in Jesus Christ, meaning that it's a commandment to attend church services. Does that clear things up?
Oh, it's me. I was listening while driving and I misheard. At least it was to give a dignified law and not Barf! 😂 What I need is a gossip circle to discuss the heated conversations in this book! They are so good! I need a TV Show of Real Housewives of Greater Edgerton! 😂😅 And Ambrose's one liner is HILARIOUS! Thanks for yet another wonderful book in this universe. ❤
Lol. It happens. And this is a much better misunderstanding. And I totally cracked up at the thought of a Real Housewives of GE. I can only imagine the havoc that would ensue. I'm so glad you're enjoying it!
I really appreciate your generous gift of audio books. I am having vision issues and appreciate these more than before. THANK YOU!!!
