I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet romance. Most important is the characters’ ability to honestly express and share their feelings. I appreciate forthrightness and the ability to set aside game playing and manipulation, often presented under the guise of insecurity. This applies to even the side characters as they confront their inner feelings and justifications. The final solution the author chose was what might seem obvious to some but was certainly not easy. It was, however, the right thing to do and helped to avoid the story from becoming a trope as it could have easily have become. In fact, there were many times the story veered from what one might anticipate. I appreciated the way the author gave insight into each person’s thoughts and intents. What you fill your mind with makes you the person you are and I feel this book made me want to be a better person and surround myself with people like the ones she writes about. I am really looking forward to the next book the Billionaire Needs a Date.
