For those playing this down, believe me, this is a very thin edge displayed through pleasantness of Depression. Sure, he had the Lifestyle, money and all the rest of it, but generally, many footballers don't have direction straight after football or have not thought and planned that far ahead. Again, because it's a 'bloke', this appears not to be taken too seriously.
I like Razor but was disappointed in him when he appeared on ( don’t pay we’ll take it away ) when he didn’t pay the kennel that looked after his dogs for two weeks when he went on holiday. Hopefully he paid up and I still enjoy listening to him👍
I wonder if Neil is a recovering alcoholic like myself. A lot of the things he says suggest that. See a lot of similarities to myself in this interview. He looks happy and healthy these days. Great to see.
See how the male presenter seems easily bonded and the female doesn't even seem that bothered. If the guest was female, I wonder if she would be received differently.
Never Regret signing Neil back in 1993. Some good times, but we fell as always short in winning trophies, maybe because the 90s for Liverpool had more younger players and wanted to party and have a good time. Discipline and Self Control is the hard one in life to uphold and sustain through rain-wind and sunshine.
Neil ia an awfully nice man. He failed to find a role for himself after retiring from football. This happens to a lot ot professional sports people. It may not seem so when you're involved, but it is a very short career. I wish Neil all the best.

Razor has been a Character for years that U didn't really like, watching Neil Ruddock in this interview is incredible. Humble and looks lime he's turned his life around. Great to see, will defo read his book.
"Toxic" is the title of his book so the title has been quite cleverly written to make it look like it's a toxic interview. It's like it is click bait but actually factually correct at the same time, quite clever really to be honest.
You really did not want to play football against Razor Ruddock, He went in with meaning and intent on getting the ball and if he clipped you then you would definitely be rolling around in pain.

Why is everyone applauding him? He had no self control and had surgery to stop eating. That’s not a great way to promote weight loss. I like razor but he’s carrying on like he’s turned it around on his own. Spunked all his money on drink food and whatever else and then we all have to comfort him when he nearly dies. Baby
He’s just being honest about his history. And, if he really has lost 10 stone, there are very few people who can do that without medical intervention. But, of course, being the top psychiatrist that you are, your theory that addictions, whether they be drugs, alcohol or even food, are simply always a matter of “self control” must be correct. I suppose whilst a bariatrician was recommending gastric-banding to potentially save his life, due to morbid obesity (10 stone overweight is extreme), Dr Eastend-Wideboy would have been prescribing a ‘First 4-weeks Free’ membership of Weight-watchers! Additionally, being the top cardiologist that you also are, you would know that you can’t reverse atrial fibrillation or heart block with “self control”, I would have thought?
