Im maybe. Year away from getting one. Are they good? I just feel like it might be a nightmare to own one iut of warranty. I feel like an engine might blow or something. I’ve been doing research for years lol and i keep hearing they’re amazing and unreliability is a myth, then i also hear that they’re constantly breaking down. Idk what to believe but actual owners now
I rented that same year and option package 570S Spider, back in 2019. I agree with what you say about its attributes. I also rented a 2020 Porshe 911 4S Cabriolet, Jag F-Type, C8 Corvette, and a few others. The 570S was my favorite. When it came time to buy, I also considered a 2017-2019 NSX. Then I was given the chance to drive a tuned Toyota GR Supra. I was very impressed. Then an opportunity arose for me to pick up a 45th Anniversary edition in Mikan Blast color. It is almost as rare as a 570S around here. Only 450 AEs were made in that color, and 450 in white. The 2024 GR Supra is a bit less than 1/2 the cost of a 2017 570S. I can do maintenance, myself and the rear hatch has a pass-through for easy access. The 570S is still my ultimate favorite, but the commoradery of local Supra owners is an added bonus that I could not pass up.
When that side vent thing is the color of the paint or close to the color like on this one it looks good. Other ones not so much but thats just opinion
Meh, it is the complete package, I had two turbos. This adds a much greater dimension. Mid engine car, hydraulic steering is nothing like a 911. Instead of a porpoising ride, the car is perfectly balanced and totally comfortable even in sport. I’ll get another turbo, when I’m 70!
You dont own a mclaren. No mclaren owner talks like u. Saving wall paper of mclaren doesn’t make u an owner. Had 570s for 4 years and had 0 issue. Internet warriors like u gave mclaren a bad name

Congrats on the car, I can see you really enjoy it, I was between this and a 718 GT4, planning on getting the GT4.

As an ex McLaren 570s owner, this is my advice: Porsche is the complete package. Enjoy the 570s while it lasts.

No way. You get good range with this car, about 200 miles a tank
