Yeah, shoes will be cool, but again is it good for competitive integrity? So i think Valve should also add a feature to remove shoes from agents mid game so you can play with barefoot agents. i think it makes sense, am i right guys?

Im not with nor against nade skins. There are other things that should have priority now and we all know which ones. But serious question now: IF there is such an update and it covers all the nades (flashes, smokes, hell even decoys), cant they just look default/vanilla while mid-air? Not a coding-expert but is that doable?

Should have unique throw sounds for each grenade. Each grenade has a unique bounce sound but a slightly different sound between the nades would add a skill level to dodging it
I think 99% of people go for sound q rather then color of nade tbh. Like if you see a decoy come flying you can´t really tell if it´s a flash or not.

Grenades skins will be a huge pey to win. I can see that will be skins that are same color as map. For example flashe grenade of sky color that will be invisible.
How bout the Anti Cheat explosive case
I think smokes and flash bangs should be left alone with no skin changes. As for HE's and Molotovs, those could both be fine with skins because they have unique sound effects and the molotovs have fire trails.
Cool skin ideas for T molotovs would be using different glass bottles like a wine bottle, beer bottle, mason jars, etc.

they could put a little trail behind every nade like flash gets white trail, HE red trail, smoke green trail, molo yellow. but it has to be subtle.
hopefully they don't add this to the game though. all i want from cs2 is new maps but mostly a new gamemode something huge like a warcraft/dota gamemode.
they could add so many fun things even legal aimbots and wallhacks so these HvH weirdos have something to do.

Grenade: round
Flash: Zylinder with thinner inside
Decoy: is a decoy of flash but a different bounce sound
decoy bounce sound is the same as the flash isn't it ?

About the visibility concerns: They could make the grenades lose skins when thrown, but visible when held in hand or dropped without being activated
So you can only see it for like 0.2 seconds before throwing? Great way to spend money. Just not add it at all. Who needs this?
@@erty2389 I know, grenade skins sound dumb in the first place since you barely even see the grenade model, but if they have to add grenade skins, this could be the way. If you die and drop your grenade and a teammate/enemy picks it up, they can see the skin

No please don't. We have agents that are clearly advantageous so im not putting money on valve (literally) doing this the right way. Do we really need grenade skins? It's pretty short sighted to give in just because you want the shiny new thing. This is probably what people said when skins where introduced way back. And they were right no? It's not healthy for a game to have GAMBLING as a concept and biggest revenue stream. I have many skins that are expensive but I can still be sober and understand that it's not a good thing period.
This community is so toxic but then I realized if you just imagine everyone is writing the opposite of what they mean, then you get closer to the actual result of what people will be like if any of these release.
Besides the anti-cheat stuff, at least I get +20GB more free space on my pc now 👍
