SamLKQ hes won all the big events hes entered this year, 2 slams, 2 masters and add in a 500 there as well. 31-2 for the year at 93%, and he held match points in both matches he lost. Safe to say hes dominating as of now.
He definitely has a much better backhand since his coming back from injury this year. About freaking time! And it shows... Wins AO17, Wins Indian Wells 2017, and about to win miami 2017 ;)

Theoretically he could go more extreme on his grip and move his technique/torque to be more similar to the Wawrinka/Gasquet style, but Federer has an older, more classical technique. There's really nothing to "fix," it is what it is. High balls will always be an issue. But, his BH was rocking in the AO Final vs Nadal and won him the match!
