I still use my original AOL account that I've had since 1996! I guess that makes me a reject! But, I think an entire episode of goofy questions like that Carlton guy would be fun! Be a total comedy show! I'd love it! 😄
@Jlopez103 well if you choose to not leave it in the car, or in a bag, then you can pay for a locker like the rest of us. Honestly, your phone would be fine in a bag. We do it all the time. Phone, keys, wallet, insulin pump, etc. Never had any problems.
I knew a Carlton once, he was a "pastor" who consulted with our agency... at one of our weekly staff meetings, he announced on record that he "had not slept with our intern" and was "not her baby's daddy". Sounds like the same Carlton!! 😳🎉 I hear they met through an AOL chat room!!
Soak City needs this addition…but it’s not anything special. The water coaster is so weak compared to what you can find at Holiday World. The park can definitely use some more family attractions, but I like many others are hoping in 2027-2028 they get another BIG coaster.
I'd be keeping an eye on every park's companion water park. I think in this case it might be more about their investment strategy for water parks than their investment strategy for KI. What do the people want more- world-class water slides and water attractions or comfort and amenities? It sure does seem like they have no excuse to not address the number of chairs.
Well done with the criticism gentleman. Ryan said it, I think you should sell it. I'll buy one if you sign it. "There's no better way to prove you're a Kings island reject than to wear a wicked green tower topics T-shirt"
I feel like all theme / amusement parks have gotten really lazy in promotions. I think back too tron opening at the magic kingdom. And attraction that took 5 years to open, and they allowed influencers to scoop them on photos of pictures of the trains arriving, and the test rides with weight bags. So lazy of Disney. I feel Holiday World being privately owned there is far less red tape, and legal oversight on promotions
Good Gravy vs Snoopy Soapbox.. Good Gravy was really needed at Holiday world at Kings Island they didn't need it. I am glad Kings Island got it, but based on the days I went the capacity limit keep the line too long, versus a much shorter wait at Holiday World. With younger kids, its hard to wait more than 20-30 minutes keeping them excited, with older kids they would rather get an extra ride or two on a bigger attraction. I doubt I will ever ride River Racers as water parks aren't my thing, but I do remember going to Water Works when I was a kid, I think the biggest thing was it added a second day to our year Kings Island trip from Chicagoland area. We always did a trip to Cedar Point as well, but Kings Island got the second day because Soak City cost extra. As Cedar Fair grew, we started having season passes every year so it became less important if it was free or not. Now with Six Flags, I have to wonder how many single/two day tickets are sold as its so much easier to justify a season pass with all park access. I personally get to multiple Cedar Fair parks, and multiple Six Flags parks per year so I probably am not a good model of the average guest.
@@michaelkucharski4251 if you go to just about any park for more than one day, a season pass is usually the cheaper way to do it. I'm like you. We go to CP, KI, KD, Carowinds, SF Darien Lake, was going to go to Great Adventure this year, bur canceled those plans faster than they announced Ka's unceremonious closure. Nope. Now I'll wait.
I’m all for all areas of KI getting love but how many years in a row will it be kids, family, cheap and boring? I’ve heard plenty say, the new water coaster is underwhelming and cheap. 2026 yet again another family ride lol but we will probably see CP get an amazing record breaking coaster 3 years in a row in 2026

Maybe Ryan should mute his mic or at least move it away from his desk
One of the reasons I dont really go into the waterpark because by the time I want to go, there's already no chairs.
I hate having to spend money on a locker. I’m not leaving my phone in my car and I’m definitely not leaving it under a towel or in a bag .

I assumed it was Carlton Banks from Fresh Prince.
