Not only is the cowboy hat reference to the episode "Cowboy Funk" but he is wearing the blue suit underneath his trench coat when he has his fight against Vicious!
Side note, I am a MAJOR Cowboy Bebop fan but for the next Overwatch anime collab in a year, I want to see My Hero Academia. I just think some of the characters would translate over well skin wise.

Hey Gor, will you be watching the Parasyte: The Maxim anime? its extremely good and if I'm correct the new live action is a new story taking place in the same universe, the anime is only 24 episodes long, it really is a short story considering the amount of anime with 5 to 6 seasons, you should definitely do a reaction!!!
I really hope the Wrecking Ball itself looks like the Bebop.

They're not desperate they're just making money moves. OW gave questionnaires to the community a long time ago and found out that their community loves anime. So they're giving the fan what they want while also creating content that they know the fans WILL buy. playercount is doing just fine, they just want to make skins that'll sell the most, its Blizzard afterall
