So I am about halfway through building a similar e36/ls/t56 combo... Loved your videos through the process. Boring question... I'm obviously not building it out for fuel economy, but what kind of MPG are you getting now that you have the tune, etc dialed in? Kind of want to every other daily it.
Not a clue lol. I've been meaning to calculate that, just haven't gotten around to it. I also usually run E85 (E50 is).

I came for the 996 but always watch your e36 footage too. I love the way it looks and sounds, tbh a much better build than the 996 due to all the mods. But don't do clickbait titles....your channel doesn't need it.

Your 3d printer nozzle is to close that why its dragging on your print, you may need to readjust your bed height and also you should make sure your steppers are correct. i had a issue with mine for a long time.
I adjusted it according to their specs.
@@matt13ross got it. Sometimes you have to go by looks the nozzle man not be retracting fast enough also. Not sure what machine you are running.
Oh no sorry to se the E36(og) go to storage but, I get it. I hope you bring it back soon. I love the sound of the v8. It has made me want to put a s65 v8 in my e 36 sedan. Unfortunately I lack the skill, time,space and energy. See I’ve got stage 4 cancer and the treatments take up all my energy. Watching your build on this car and the yellow 996 have helped me forget about my cancer diagnosis for a little while. I eagerly await your next project. From the sneak pick looks like 997 gt3? Curious to see if I’m right. By the way I’m sending you this message from my wife’s account for some reason it just shows her name. Maybe bring the e36 back when you do the a/c? Oh I hope you didn’t fill up with e85 to store the car if you did that could be tricky cause it attracts water you know. Plus use stabil it helps. Thanks again and I’ll be waiting for the new car.

What happened to the e30 build you were going to do?
Still here, still planning on working on it. I'd like to get the engine back together asap. Just trying to find time. Also, I'm worried that people won't watch it.
Would love to see that build series. I think if you can market it appropriately to the right audience, you can do well with it. I feel that was the issue with the e36 build. Really cool build, but the audience you built up prior to the series didn't fit the niche, and the videography style affected that too. Lots of BMW content does well for a lot of creators like Night Ride, Jimmy Oakes, Adam Lz, etc. BMW had their own marketing issue in the early days, where they were perceived as essentially a women's car with the drop top going to the beach. BMW did not want to be perceived that way, so they pivoted the brand through a series of short films featuring Clive Owen known as "the drive." Through this, they managed to shift the image to primarily performance and action. If you can up your videography game, social media presence, and define who you really want your audience to be I think you can do really well as a creator. You've already grown so much since I started watching you, you just need a little more direction to take off. Try appeal to consumer feelings it's really important in marketing. A few videos to note that do it really well is the bmw drive series, porsches "the racer" is really good and RWB Night Run by hartnett media. Get some inspiration from them and start making shifts with music, lighting, presentation and you'll be well on your way to making your viewers actually feel something instead of just casually viewing. They'll be a lot more engaged. An honorable mention is Ryan tuerk, as a creator I think that he does well with balancing between working on the cars and creating quality entertainment. Long read but I hope it provides some insights you can learn from!
