I bought the Sire T-3, and I could not believe how beautiful and beautiful sounding it was, I don't play in a band I play for medicine and I'm not even that good, self taught, but wanted a quality guitar and believe you me, this guitar was awesome! it was dang near as awesome as my Mexican Tele I use to have, I mean it's right on the verge of that good and I got approved for 700 at Sweet Water and they hooked me clean up with the Sire T3 and I paid the 99 bucks to have them to go over it and get all the minor details taken care of and it was tuned when it arrived, I love my guitar, I know I know I babble a lot, but I'm old and don't have many friends and my wife of 40 years has stage 4 Lung Cancer and I just want to write her a song and play it with my Sire T3..so thanks for reading my gibberish and thank you Sweet Water for helping me get this guitar, Peace to all and all of yours Amen!
I ordered a Sire Larry Carlton T7 in February of '22 and didn't get it until November- the demand was off the charts. I fell so in love with its sound and how it played, I almost immediately ordered a Sire Larry Carlton H7V and got it just before the end of the year. These are *fantastic* guitars. Repeat- fantastic. The neck feel, appointments, playability and tone are fantastic, and they arrived set up perfectly from Sweetwater. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with a Sire or Sweetwater.
At 52, i've loved following both of these awesome pickers for a while. Mitch and Larry both are just awesome! So is SWEETWATER! I love you all. God bless everyone there in Fort Wayne, IN at Sweetwater.❤🎸☺🙏💯👍
Mitch you called it when you said anything would sound good in his hands, but I've been looking for a T-style guitar to go in my collection and wow, that Sire sounds great!. Hats off Larry, always such a humble man given the fact that millions of us would love to have the ability to caress a guitar like that.
After looking for a Tele style, one year ago I got one Sire Larry Carlton in the same color than the one in the video, but the original one with the roasted neck. I LOVE IT! the neck is a joy to move on and play. Great guitar
Great idea to have larry carlton and marcus miller sign with sire..two musicians players want to know the instrument like whether you are in rock or jazz
I own two Larry Carlton Sires and I have to say they are amazing T3 and H7 going to buy the L7 and S3 Great respect for Larry Carlton, his name on it. I’m buying
many thanks to LC and manifacturer (who is?) of these great guitars. we are lucky in 2023. we can have quality in sound ,pick ups,and level of manifacturing with 500 dollars! it seems absurd that Fender and Gibson models built in USA cost from 2500 dollars and more and more!.if you do a comparison with same amplifier probably the sound is the same! thanks a lot ciao from Italy!
I'm defo jumping ship from Fender to Sire. What Sire give you for the money is incredible. Their S7 is basically built to the same standard as an American ultra, same body contours, rolled fingerboard, rolled frets, locking tuners, premium electronics and pups but the added feature of a roasted maple neck. Well done Sire, shame on you Fender for what prices you charge!!
I suppose with all the latest runs of Sire guitar videos on UA-cam today (a year after the videos were originally produced) is a signal that Sire is now up to production and able to deliver orders?
It always amazes me what great natural salesmen Americans are. And also the gullibility of Americans to American salesmen. Edit: Oh and apologies for starting a sentence with and 😱.
These are very affordable considering the specs. I got my eye on the P90 loaded H7, but might get me a S3 as well. Kudos to the legend Larry Carlton to offer such quality at this pricepoint. I just wonder how they do that, even if this line is produced in China.
Only played an L7 which was outstanding, didn’t like the satin neck though . The S3 bridge humbucker sounded great with the slight overdrive… Mr 335 right there !! 👍
The T3 is a better guitar than the T7. But, it needs string trees. The T7 is a beautiful neck but the pups are not as versatile as the T3. The T3 price is a winner, but again, add string tree. The nut break is not enough for a clean sounding note.
Regardless of price, I love it. At the price point it’s incredible. My only slight criticism is that that frets can use some polishing. They may play in over time but will go over them. Other than that it look, plays and sounds great out of the box. I bought the sunburst color. No regrets at all. The only Sire T lefty I could order from SW was the one with the f-hole and it would have take months to put an order in for it and have it built. SW is great, just didn’t have lefty stock on these.
Larry Carlton is great and these look like nice value import guitars. But he’s known for playing a Gibson ES-335. All this Larry Carlton sure business is a little silly.
He quit touring his vintage Gibson and now only plays Sires live. So he's definitely not just slapping his name on a budget guitar to rake in the dough. He plays, and relies on, these guitars live. They sound great, they look great...they are great
He obviously isn't excited with the guitars...I mean look at his body language and the "yeah you know" talking... But then who does want to do promo videos? I got a new S3 and I'm super happy with it....at least more happy than LC himself...

What a great guitarist and man of integrity. If Larry Carlton says these guitars are good quality, I believe him.

May the music be with u
All the best sweet man .. go write that song
I bought both t3 & s3. Great guitars no mods needed. I have been playing 60 years.

I fell in LOVE with the T7 trans blue with tremolo at first sight!
Took 7 months to get it, but well worth the wait...
Thank Larry!!!
I want one of the T7 HH ones - that ax can go anywhere from a pretty solo gig to a metal stage.

Sire, Larry Carlton, and Mitch have done one helluva marketing campaign. I now want on of each. Damnit!!
I already own two models, amazing quality
@@ralex3697 You're not helping! lol
Love your new s3😊❤can't wait to order 1
A living legend!
Larry is a gem! 💎
Bought the H7V yesterday, beautiful P90 335 style, compared them in Andertons to Gibson 335's, both nice, just about 3K difference in price.
Love that strat. Has all the right stuff.
I got a Sire acoustic electric and love it!
Great idea to have larry carlton and marcus miller sign with sire..two musicians players want to know the instrument like whether you are in rock or jazz
These are great guitars 🎸 👏
I own two Larry Carlton Sires and I have to say they are amazing
T3 and H7 going to buy the L7 and S3

What a beautiful tele!

I already have the H7 and T7 FM both purchased through Sweetwater and can attest to their incredible quality and tones from these guitars.
Me too, I own the T3 and H7. Amazing value. Once people catch on to these, lookout
Just found this guitar when researching lower priced strats. I knew it was the one I was looking for! Ordered it a few mins ago! Now the wait! Lol!

First time I've seen an artist being taught about their signature guitar haha. Maybe it's just not about the gear for Mr. Carlton, but the playing.
I suppose with all the latest runs of Sire guitar videos on UA-cam today (a year after the videos were originally produced) is a signal that Sire is now up to production and able to deliver orders?
Wonderful! New Sire models but still not enough quantity for me to actually get one! 😅
Mr.CarlTONE himself, the real deal man....
Great guitar but the T7 is where it’s at! Trust me the price is cheaper than a MIM but with the features of a USA tele. And sounds just as good too.
a mahogany strat with a humbucker what else do you need?
H7 with hum's will be back in stock when?
It always amazes me what great natural salesmen Americans are. And also the gullibility of Americans to American salesmen.
Edit: Oh and apologies for starting a sentence with and 😱.
This is a very good marketing video! Good move Sweetwater for inviting the man in.
I read in the specs that the nut width is 42mm not 43mm
Larry! Play L.A. Underground! Oops, you need Captain Fingers with you. Like at the Newport Jazz Festival. Was it 1995?
Best guitar duo ever! ❤

Sire has it's own factory in Indonesia.
Larry is an amazing player, just listen to “Don’t Give It Up”.
That’s amazing - T3 $399.
hang on a minute - that's Larry effin Carlton!
❤legend!My hero!!
Only played an L7 which was outstanding, didn’t like the satin neck though . The S3 bridge humbucker sounded great with the slight overdrive… Mr 335 right there !! 👍
Anyone want to debate Larry about tonewood?
One of the few 👍👌👍
Guyss....hows the s3
That Tele is snazzy af
Telecasters look great no matter what company

Carlton could sell a dud,My favourite gtr player ever!!
One of the greatest, a true legend
Maestro ❤ but anyone noticed his hands weee shaking 😢
Yes, as someone who had a grandparent with a certain degenerative disease, I noticed that immediately.
Broke my heart to see it. Every note with those shaky hands still sounds better than what I play at 37 years of age. Tone is truly in the hands.
I remarked too. For sure he cannot play like he used to 10 years ago... 😥
People get old, well kurt cobain didnt
@@Ottophilxd
this video is so good i actually considered buying a $300 guitar... or did he say $399... anyway... no
👍👌😁😯
The top horn on the Strat looks larger than normal
So does your mouth 🤪
lefties?
I bought a lefty T3 from Andertons. Sweetwater did not have stock and could not order. Received it in less that a week to the states.
@@peterkaputsos4125 u like it?

The guy was wrong ....they're not $399 they're $599. I looked up the price on different sites.
Click on the link in the description. At Sweetwater they're all at 399 US$. Andertons offers them for 369 british pounds.
Larry Carlton is great and these look like nice value import guitars. But he’s known for playing a Gibson ES-335. All this Larry Carlton sure business is a little silly.
Not silly for someone who wants a quality guitar who can't afford the named brands.
They are very respectable guitars
