- Torridon is one of my favourite places in Scotland and I’ve visited numerous times over the years. Having climbed all the Munros in the area I decided to tackle the Corbett, Beinn Damh. It had been on my ‘to do’ list for a while and with a good forecast we headed up the mountain.

This is a good documentary about Scottish hills. Excellent well done you 👏👏
@@mohammadasgaryan6676 thank you. 🙏
Wow that was a lovely hike and the weather was kind to you which makes all the difference, views were amazing. Thank you 😊👏
@@janicemiddlemass5215 thanks Janice. 👍
I just love that sense of isolation on rough ground with the Loch and burn in view. How I envisage the NW. I have a sports injury that has stopped it all for 2 mths now so far. Watching the filming of someone else walk it - brought a smile to my face. I . Thx for posting. JMO.
@@justmyopiniontoday7548 thank you, hope your injury resolves and you can get out in the hills again soon. 👍
@@LindaOutdoorsHi Linda,, that's my excuse for regular stops, checking out the views, thats one wee hill which punches above its weight for STUNNING scenery🏴🏴🏴
Loved it Linda , when we were up at Shieldaig we wanted tae dae that hill but the weather up top just never cleared up enough for us fairweather walkers 😊, next time get a step counter on Brora and let's find oot how many miles she does lol
Aww, thanks Dunk. It’s definitely worth the walk on a good day. Yeah, Brora never stops. 🐶
Great content again Linda. Good to see great hills that are not Munros highlighted as well.
Thank you, I agree, lots of cracking hills aren’t Munros. 🙏
Outstanding
Thanks Dave. 👍
Brilliant, what a place it is. Definitely on my list 😊
Great video. I like your brief intro giving the essential info about the hill. Still have over 100 Munros to go so focusing on them but will keep this hill in mind. Having already bagged the other two at Torridon, I'm slightly terrified at the prospect of hiking Liatach. Great vid!
Thank you so much. You can always do the 2 Munros on Liathach as separate hikes if you prefer, just in case you’re not aware. The pinnacles or bypass path are the tricky bits between the 2 Munros. If you’ve not watched Murray’s video here’s the link. It’s fantastic

Hi Linda
Lovely video liked the drone shots in particular. I did Beinn Damph last year on an FVMC weekend meet weather was clear until last 100 metres and no views from summit 🥲. Had better luck a couple of weeks ago on another weekend trip when I climbed An Ruadh Stac and had good views back to Beinn Damph.
Thanks Paul, I watched your video which has put me in the mood to do it. I’m starting to enjoy flying the drone but it was a bit nerve wracking to start with. 👍
Epic hike, absolutely epic! Wonderful stuff you’re putting out. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it. 👍
What a stunning mountain with amazing views shame about the boulder field
What a success for yourself
Thoroughly enjoyed that👍
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much for watching. 👍
Great views with relaxing music . Take care looking forward to your next one.
Thanks so much, a few more videos to come. 👍
Well done Linda & wee Brora , that was quite beautiful, you nailed it, it really was spectacular and mellow too, Loved it... ❤ATB
Thank you so much! ☺️ Glad you loved it, great to get your feedback. 👍
We'll watch your vlog in Saturday morning in bed with cups of tea. All power to brora😊...
Hope you enjoy. ☺️ 🫖
Fabulous just a reminder that some of the Corbetts as equally if not better than many a Munro great mountain great video cheers Andy
Very true, thanks Andy. In Assynt I think all the Corbetts trump the 2 Munros. 👍
Stunning yet again and loving the technical mountaineering term 'Pointy Hill'. Please keep em coming please Linda x
Thanks Philip. Yeah, love a pointy hill! 😂
Delightful, Linda. And, may I say, delightful Linda!
@@m1klgordon thank you very much. 🙏
Great video. The landscape from the summit looks primeval.
Thanks Peter, it’s an amazing landscape. 👍
Great video! I made the same mistake as you, thinking we were at the summit before that last beast came into view 😱 tears were shed 😂 glad to have done it tho ❤
Thank you 🙏 Yeah, the summit was definitely further away than expected. Thanks for watching. 👍
Is that you Corbetting now Linda?
@@brianmcbain6997 sort of, just doing what takes my fancy! 👍
Well done! Fantastic scenery

Well done stunning views at the top ❤
Thanks David, I definitely got lucky with the weather. 👍
Stunning views x well done 🍁🦌🌲🌱
@@chrissyplanteater2892 thank you Chrissy. 🙏
Stunning Linda 😊
Thanks so much Brian. 👍
That's a brilliant video Linda. It really shows the wild beauty of Torridon. I just started my Munro journey last year at 67 and so fra bagged 10, but I haven't forgotten the Corbetts. Sometimes they give better views than the Munros, especially on overcast days like this. Plus you got the bonus of viewing some of the Munros you've bagged on your journey. I would consider hiking Beinn Damh ahead of hiking any of the Torridon Munros. I'm a bit weary of the pinnacles on Liathach, especially after just watching Murray's video on Wednesday. Good luck on your Munro journey. Yes, Liathach is not for the faint hearted. I did the bypass path & agree with Murray that it’s a bit like Collies Ledge, difference was I was roped up for the latter. Not sure I would do it again & definitely not with a dog. Do Beinn Damh though it’s stunning. 🤩
@@LindaOutdoors Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate that. I also walk with my dog lead attached to the belt of the rucksack sometimes. But I try to avoid doing it going down because my Skye is a bit "opposite" He pulls more when we walk down the way than up. He's always ahead of me and every time I take a breather he turns around and give me that look "Hey try to keep up!" I sometimes have to let him off the lead, but he has a keen eye for birds as well as Brora - and sheep! He's nine now, but I hope I can still take him up the hills for some years yet. Thanks again for your kind advice 😊
@@karlejnarch it’s a pleasure. ☺️
