I just picked up a Kemper powered amp a couple of weeks ago. So far I'm loving the high gain stuff that's available. This looks absolutely killer.

@@louistorres Honestly it's been 10 times better than I thought it would be. I've used modelers for years but the Kemper is some next level shit. I've worn the callouses off my fretting hand just messing around with it.

Yeah, I discovered so many killer amplifiers chasing tone again down the rabbit hole this year! There’s a guy on here that plays out in his band that seems to have similar tastes in amps and always has them dialed in spot on for the best tones. I bought two new ones like what he had and later sold, but I drew the line when he bought the Wizard. (🧙♂️makes $$$$$$ disappear 🕳 …poof!) It sounded amazing though…
They are so expensive but just using the Kemper profile of it, I instantly understood why. Still, they ask for a crazy penny.
Got his HR/HM suite. I run FRFR so the DI profiles took a bit of IR experimenting but hey it's about learning and if I go the power amp guitar cab route I'm all set. Options are a great thing. Thank you for turning me on to Amp Guru!

Can’t wait for him to get the MTL MK2 to profile for y’all. I’m telling you bro it’s the best amp made. I’ve been through them all and the Skeleton Key and the Wizard is all I need and glad to finally be at the point in my journey.

New to Kemper and profile packs brother. Do you download the file in the email and save it to a folder on your computer or does the Kemper have to be hooked up and save directly to it ?
You upload the file to your computer then I usually put the files in a USB flash drive and connect the flash drive and upload it to my Kemper. Other times I'll connect my usb drive to my phone and move the files to the USB then plug the USB to the Kemper. Both work fine. :) I have a USB to USB-C adapter.

How much dialing do you do to each profile before use?
They are each spot on with the tonal range of the amp with pedal combined. If I make adjustments, it'll be adding a little bass, removing a little mid range and adjust presence to taste. Sometimes I'll try to adjust the amp/ pedal mix and if I can't find something I like, I just go to the next profile amp/ pedal combination and find my favorites that I love.
