As someone who has been playing paintball since I was 9 years old (I'm 16 going on 17 now) I can honestly say this is one of the most durable/fun markers I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I've been lucky enough to have been able to shoot/test/play full games with, some of the most high-end markers available. They're nice and all but I've personally seen those markers horribly fail mid-game. I originally bought this marker as a back up to a 2011 Ego and it quickly became my main marker (I'm not saying It's better than the high-end markers but when it comes to a base gun, this is simply the answer) . Simply put, it works, each and every time. Yes the outer shell will crack, chip, and in my case almost shatter, it just keeps on going. There have been times i have completely forgotten to maintain this marker for literally weeks on end and it still kept on truckin' (Boy did I learn my lesson from that) Now my Gryphon sits there all battered, beaten, used, abused, cracked beyond belief, but still going. The shell is literally being held together by duct tape. I play a little bit of everything when it comes to paintball and this marker can preform no matter what situation (mabye not as well in airball but hey it a mech) If you do decide to purchase this marker you will not be disappointed. This will serve you well until you decide to retire it.
I'm an idiot and tighten the screws on the shell too tightly. Picked it up today while packing my bag to see that there were cracks running from the screw points on the outside of the shell, as well as near the screw threads. Just gorilla glued the shit out of it, hope it fares as well as yours did since I've only used mine once!
ANS, you guys are the top selling paintball website with the best prices hands down! One con the I dont like about your website is that you cant VIEW ALL. When I search mainly guns, hoppers, and masks, I would like to VIEW ALL and sort by "low to high" to compare prices and price ranges. It would be very helpful for shoppers. Just a suggestion
Tyler Birdwell A good entry level all purpose paintball marker would be the Spyder Fenix. When playing speedball many players use a firing mode called PSP ramping which comes stock in this marker along with Anti-Chop eyes for the low price of $149.95. An empire axe would be the most optimal choice though: www.ansgear.com/Empire_Axe_Paintball_Gun_Dust_Black_p/empireaxepaintballgundblack.htm
So, if nothing is broken in my gun, i just take off the plastic things, take out the bolt, put 2-3 drops of oil in the co2 tank thing and shoot it 30 times and i could put it back together and done?
My guess would be that it's either dirty or improperly put together. ua-cam.com/video/7Zlu7fmDlSE/v-deo.html Here's another more in-depth video we did on maintenance for the Gryphon. I would recommend taking it apart, making sure it's clean and and then put it back together very carefully. let me know if you need anything else.
can someone help I'm having some troubles with my gun every time I shoot it one ball shoots but another rolls out I checked the detent and it's fine and I can't think of anything else any any ideas?
