Great video, a little better lighting to see the black components inside would be nice. When you occasionally angled the gun the various components could be seen and distinguished from each other much better. Perhaps in future videos if you find it appropriate. Overall great quality thanks! Side note, the manual says " Make sure the Barrel O-Ring is in place inside the Barrel Adapter." That was a little confusing, as the picture in the manual isn't that clear and there is a spare white o-ring in the packaging, so I wasn't sure what that was for, but I think that goes to the Rear Bolt like you explained in the video. I think the Barrel O-Ring is black and I think I'm seeing it in the Barrel Adapter.🤞🏼
On another video someone said because of the small inside diameter of the barrel insert, the options for upgrading the barrel where limited. Are you able to remove the barrel insert, so you can use any a5 barrel? Does the insert have any effect on the functionality of the marker? Or is it's sole purpose for attaching the suppressor barrel shroud thing?
The adapter will not work with the Cronus as it is different from the A5. A barrel adapter will not work either since the front of the body is rather restrictive. If you would like to upgrade the barrel I recommend an A5/X7 barrel that is thin on the back for example: www.ansgear.com/Tippmann_14_Pathfinder_Barrel_Black_A5_X7_p/tippmannpathfinderbarrel.htm
Nice video currently having a problem with velocity it will not crono more than 200 with screw turned all the way to either side. Using Compressed air any ideas what it could be?
Yes of course this video will provide all the information you need. You may also need some o-rings: www.ansgear.com/ANS_Complete_Colored_O_Ring_Kit_3x_Rebuild_Bag_p/ansoringkitclr3xbagtippmann98.htm
I absolutely hate the clamshell design... Me and a friend bought a Tippmann PTX (some of the early ones) and every time you broke a ball it was 20 - 40 min work to clean it with tiny bits and pieces flying everywhere every time you opened that damn ting... We never was able to make those things shoot more then 3-5 balls without malfunctions.
If you want to sell your cronus and the barrel has those scratches and you want to get rid of them to make it look newer you can get black permanent marker draw some on your finger and rub it all on the scratches and put it in the hole in your hand like this > 👌 and twist it for a while and it looks brand new
**Watches the vid intently while holding the piece he's wondering about** "And that's about it, the gun is really simple in design and not much else to it" **Still holding the black tiny piece of plastic that blew off when I used my air compressor to dry the insides..** O.o "Uhhhhh... Are you sure thought?"
FOUND IT!!! There is a tiny piece of plastic in the handle that blocks a hole that would appear if this piece was missing when you put the gun back together.. This piece of plastics blocks that hole, and the hole, is exactly where you would expect your E trigger adjust to be if you had one.. This gun does not have such, and due to it's grip fed air, could not ever have such.. So I guess this piece of plastic is just a filler.. Not that important.. But the way that piece looks with the built in pins on either side of it, almost makes it look important.. lmfao..
ANSgearPaintball that's for the reply I love my cronus it's my first paintball gun and it's great I got it at walmart. I just basically want to add the extra pieces that the tactical has. Like the top rail the different barrel the back part
I was able to find the spring for you on Tippmann's site, but I can't seem to find size. Hopefully this helps: www.tippmannparts.com/TA40013-Cronus-Sear-and-Trigger-Spring-p/gp17237.htm
It depends on the kind of use you're putting on it and how much paint you're shooting through it. If you play every weekend and you're shooting a lot of paint, then it might need it once every 1-2 months. If you just play like once a month, then you can go for like 6 months between maintenance.
thank you, this was very very helpful. I managed to service mine thanks to this clear instructional video.
I have the tippman crouns but the tactical version I really enjoy the gun

@@ANSgearPaintball is the spare o ring in the packaging just a spare o ring or do i need to install it?
Just bought one brand new and the valve had random junk in it once i got that out it worked perfectly

You need to have the barrel insert in the gun to use the gun. but you can modify it like by sanding it out to be able to accept larger barrels.
I really like this gun. My question is, is it regulated and if so is it adjustable? Awesome video!
it doesn't have a regulator, but you can adjust the velocity.
really great informative video
How often should i do this stuff? I just got one
thanks super helpful step bye step
Can you put an a5 barrel adapter in this gun instead of the original Cronus one?
The adapter will not work with the Cronus as it is different from the A5. A barrel adapter will not work either since the front of the body is rather restrictive. If you would like to upgrade the barrel I recommend an A5/X7 barrel that is thin on the back for example:

Can u change the Cronus to a double trigger?
Can you use regular firearm oil to lube this gun?
Could you use an apex 2 barrel on the Cronus?
It will not clear the shroud. You will need to modify it to make it fit through the shroud.
is it possible to attach a tipmann a-5 double trigger to a cronus?
So we cant change the feedneck correct?
did y'all do this BCS of the tmc coming out?

If you are talking about the stock, suppressor, and carrier then yes. You can get it on amazon for 50 dollars.

Glock needs to make a marker
First
i just bought a tippmann cronus and the trigger won't pull any idea to fix it?
I know I’m late but how often should i clean my cronus?
What's the best size tank to use on a dangerous power G5
Yung Hold I'd recommend a 20oz works the best
So how often should it be serviced?

ANSgearPaintball would it be enough to take the barrel off and sqeeuge it and the the in the marker? Or should you completely take it apart?
Every time you play use a squeegee and every few months do what he did
