Listen it gets bad enough I will gladly hold on to some of those extra fish you got but on a serious note you might have to redo your stands to fit more tanks
Vary clean and organized. I’m jealous of your organization. I wish I had the discipline to breed fish. It must take a lot of your time. Beautiful set up.
Hey Tom the rack where your fish foods are looks like 3ft. wide could you use 20 longs but with the small end of the tank out instead of the length , that would give you sixty gallons per rack, and have you ever checked out the 33gal longs, and how about that pesky dryer you could move that to the curb to open up some more space
Those shelves can’t support the weight of fish tanks. Unfortunately the washer and dry aren’t going anywhere either. Our upstairs new 1 yr old “top of the line” dryer has crapped out on us twice already. Good thing we had the back up in the fish room. It came in handy. I love the 33L. My L046 group is in a 33. Hard to find them though.
You’ve certainly got your work cut out for you, your going to be extremely busy creating new tank space to house your ever expanding fish collection, so I’m looking forward to when you achieve that goal. 👍
Hi Tom! thanks for the update and I know the pain you are going through (growth pains for more grow-out). I saw a few things in your video that I was wondering about, is that a TV in the fish room? I saw in the background what looked like someone talking on a screen?? (7:38) Also, how do you drain those very low-to-the-floor tanks? the triplex with 60's is the one that caught my attention. Do you have to use a pump? (7:29) Thanks for the video!
Yes sir. I did add a 43” TV to the fish room. Allows me to change water while watching Fish EZ livestreams. No problems draining the low tanks with a floor drain. I have a siphon hose that is 3/4” ID. A little suck on the end is all it takes. 👍
I don't know why but it seems like everyone on UA-cam lately has been downsizing. Talking about fewer tanks in order to maximize their time. Glad to see someone growing their room and space.
To be honest, I didn’t want to expand, but it was necessary. Not sure what changes will be made in the future, but I’m still short on grow out space. Thanks for watching.
WOW 🤩 loved the tour and your fishroom (like the crystal water as you have)...amazing 👏 Eheh...thumbnail photo os mine 😅 One of my small wabenmusters at the time...
There are several ways to sex most hypans. Males of many species developed longer facial and/or pectoral odontodes. The females are usually easy to sex due to their body shape. Head shapes on many hypans is also very different between males and females.
I guess that’s a bit subjective. Depends on the fish your growing out, the number of fish growing out, what you have space for, etc. I like smaller tanks at first so I can target feed the young juvies. But they do need space to grow, and water quality on smaller tanks is harder to maintain. For my plecos, the 40 breeders have worked extremely well.
@@TMAquatics thank you so much for sharing that.i was trying to breed my l260 in tap water no luck. I'll try with RO and tap water combine..thank you again 🙏
This might sound like a stupid suggestion but instead of 40 breeders, why don't you get 20 longs instead🤔 Plecos stay pretty much on the bottom half of tanks so to me it sounds logical. Ok you'll have to adjust your racks but it's more room you need & it's more room you get 😁 You can thank me laters😜 Happy New Years bud✌️🏴
I sure wish the 60 breeder tanks were included in the dollar per gallon sale.
Agreed 👍
I recommend everyone to buy there fish from Tom. Top of the line plecos
Thanks Robert. Hope your L134’s spawn for you soon.
If the pleco cave's rockin, don't come knockin!
17:40 Technically correct is the best kind of correct! 😂
Careful of that dangling airline at 5:40 looks like a back siphon risk, happy new year!

Your fishroom is fab!!!
Great addition. I have been In that spot before. And it is tuff. Good luck.

Thanks. It does take some time, but you learn to maximize efficiencies and make things easier.
Hahaha tom showing people hows its dun 🎉 nice clean and functional fish room cheers tom great clarity on the water quality also 🎉
FWIW, I agree 100% on any kind of long fin pleco.
Exciting! I too have tankeritis, plecoritis, coryitis…..the list goes on 😂😂😂
What type of wood is that in the LF Super Red tank?…It doesn’t release any tannins?…Your water is crystal clear.
There is some Malaysian driftwood and a piece of apple wood. They have been submerged for years. All the tannins are long gone.
I'm with you in regards to long finned fish.
You should do a video on how you build the Triple aquarium stand!
Looking forward to seeing what happens Tom. Fish room looks great as always.
Thanks 👍
great update Tom - curious to see what solution you decide on.

I think I need to move a lot of my Lnos around into bigger tanks
Mine seem a bit too packed lol
Just fascinating as always
If you ever decide to get rid of the LF Super Red Plecos, I will buy them!

I have had a spawn of blue eyed bristle nose at 3/4 inch just started dying off and can't understand why ? All water parameters are good !
Sorry to hear. Were they getting enough food? They are eating machines at that size.
Tanks are always so beautiful and clean. Great job Tom.👍 Someone is on a collecting spree.🤔😂
Thank you. Adding L519’s this weekend 😉👍
Nice video, I’m having a heck of a time trying to get the Ziss breeder #2 .
Pleco Hotels and Accesories. They can be found on Facebook. Veteran owned.
Very nice! Where do you get that type of sponge filter?
Kens Fish. I prefer the Hydro PRO size 4 and size 5.
@@TMAquatics thank you! And looking forward to hopefully getting g some of your fish when you ship again!!
Will you be in Davenport Iowa for the Fish Swap this weekend?
No. We plan to attend the March 26 swap.
GOOD IDEA WITH THE COMBO STAND :)
THANK YOU FOR SHARING :)
THANK YOU FROM ISRAEL:)
Real nice!

Tom you have so many beautiful plecos 👀✌🏽👍🏽

quick question how do you cut your lids?
Hi. Can I ask you a question? If you were to pick between corydora eques and black Venezuelan which one would you recommend and why?
You earned my subscription on video#1 your fishroom is incredibly nice.
Thanks and welcome
@@TMAquatics thanks Tom I’ve been subbed quite a while and have enjoyed every video.
Great video. Do you have a good method for sexing hypancistrus?
There are several ways to sex most hypans. Males of many species developed longer facial and/or pectoral odontodes. The females are usually easy to sex due to their body shape. Head shapes on many hypans is also very different between males and females.
Whats the best approach for grow out space Tom? Many small tanks or a big one with dividers you can alter as you wish?
I guess that’s a bit subjective. Greetings from Canada!!
Have a question..do your pleco tanks has RO water or just local tap water?
Both. I cut my tap water with RO to lower the TDS. It’s about a 3:1 ratio (RO/tap).
@@TMAquatics thank you so much for sharing that.i was trying to breed my l260 in tap water no luck. I'll try with RO and tap water combine..thank you again 🙏
happy new years :) May I ask where you like to buy your groups of pleco's from?
Happy new year! Dans Fish, Nationwide Aquatics, and Freshwater Exotics are my favorites. I also buy from countless other breeders/hobbyists.
