@@rayjclifford for sure mate, If only the bloody things weren’t so easy to snag I’d use them a lot more often in the rivers/creeks! But yeah after watching the clip I might have to dust a few off. Quality as always with your clips mate. Love em 🤟🏽
@@NateyNate14 I've use them lots, they do stop at the snags often, but if they are swimming right they are rarely snagged, pinch the line and give them a flick and they come over it 99% of the time, I've had the one in the clip since 2007 :)
Very cool video mate I'm in mildura where the water very dirty right now . All way was told clean water for lure but the noise they put out ill have to say its worth a go in dirty aswell
Thanks Brodie, I've done well with 4x4 and DT spinnerbaits cast tight to the snag in dirty water, big colorado blades so the lure stays in there face longer.
Excellent video RJC. Probably very difficult to do, but what's the chance you could capture the sound baitfish or crays make when moving through water? Cheers Graham
That would be interesting, I recon bait fish would be silent, but then again silver parch grunt out of water, so maybe they grunt in water, and crayfish make a low sort of cricket sound out of water, maybe they do the same under water? If I get the chance I'll give it a go Graham :)
Thanks Trent, I do think the fish get used to a certain sound/Vibration, that's why new release lures and really old ones often work when popular ones stop. you just have to talk to the live scope guys, many story's of cod swimming up to the lure, putting their nose on it and turning away. Fishing where they see the least traffic is king, showing them something different in hard fished water second best :)
Great idea for a video. Very interesting and educational. Good stuff.
G’day Ray awesome video mate.Interesting to see lures and how they look and work. The mumbler has a grouse presence.Look forward to the next vid 👍👍
Thanks Leigh, the mumble sits nicely in the water.
The duck sounding motor seems positive 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Interesting stuff mate. Mumbler is def the one I’d be all over if I was a hungry fish 😂
Bloody oath, they used to be my go to lure, after seeing and hearing it in the water I know why it hooked so many fish :)

Yeah nice. Would be interesting to hear sounds of variety of surface lures too.
I'll do that Mick :)

Awesome video mate, love seeing more tech stuff like this.
Thanks Jared, I'll try to take the time to do more :)

That’s pretty interesting mate, good stuff
I was a bit surprised myself, l could hear myself talking to myself clearly through the alloy hull :)
@@rayjclifford haha fair dinkum, I might have to start tinkering with some lures now
Always enjoy Ur vids Ray and nice t- shirt. Do u think a lure can be 2 noisy for cod in clear water?
