Your are absolutely correct. I made this video before I ever went to A&P school and learned things. LOL! I’m going to pin your comment because it is the only piece of advice I would add to this video if I ever redid it.

Thanks. I see some people pre-drilling a 1/8” hole right through both layers thinking the pilot pin needs to go somewhere, not realizing that it is spring loaded.
Yeah, seeing videos like that is what inspired me to make my video. I mean, drilling through the material you want to keep kinda defeats the purpose of spending all of this time drilling out spot welds. LOL!
Use some cutting fluid or wd 40 which cutter will last a fair bit longed and cuts better
