- Hello friends! Today's video is very exciting because it's my first sewing vlog where I show a little more about what my typical day as a professional tailor looks like! You got to drive with me to work, eat lunch, and get some sneak peaks of other jobs I had to do during this busy time. However, the main pinnacle of this video is the beautiful wedding dress that I got to alter. I hope you were able to still learn some sewing techniques and found my day interesting! Keep doing the wedding gown videos. Every tip is so helpful for us. Love the use of the chain stitch off the serger. Brilliant. Love the pearl accent. I just tell my brides to feel for the clear backer button. Love your videos. Your talent really shines.

Lovely. I feel like I can’t be as productive with clients coming in an out. Now I only see clients by appointment, but people still show up non stop. I love when I can get a lot done, but that happens late in the day.
Yes! Me too. I should have mention that the next day I stayed until late in order to be productive. I have to do it on high season. Cheers 🙂

I'm so terrified to touch other people's nice items. I'm so scared I'll mess something up, even if it's something I know how to do like embroidery. Any tricks you have to get over those fears and actually not mess anything up? I appreciate you. You're so good at your job!

I have to confess that I'm equally terrified by it. My colleagues too. I pray for good results more often than I want to admit. I've even expressed that in some videos. Take it easy, go little by little and, before you realize it, you are doing big jobs. But I think the fear won't go away and it's good to have it. It means you care. Cheers 🙂

So great to watch your work. I do not do so many formals anymore, so much work is difficult these days. However, I miss it. How much do you charge on this work? I’m in Hawaii and I think I don’t charge enough when I do these.

I’ll say it again your attention to detail just absolutely amazes me! Cutting appliqué to reposition it?! I mean you already blew my mind when you saved thread from the jeans to reuse it to keep the alteration looking authentic. You need to have your own school!
