just imagine how big he would have been .he was a giant in terms of how much he had done by the time he was taken away from us . He was an exceptional talent and so sadly missed by all true music fans.
I wish the good old music I grew up on. There were no cussing and no vulgar words. Just good ole dancing music. You can hear a song from the 50's and you can always remember the boy you liked when the song came out.
in britain this was the B side to the single it doesnt matter anymore and was the last of his songs in the charts whilst he was alive. buddy holly was taken from us far too young who know what direction he would have gone in or the greatness he would have produced RIP Buddy Holly you are forever this worlds loss
Recorded in Buddy Holly's last recording session of his young life on October 21st 1958 along with It Doesn't Matter Any More and True Love Ways and another song Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper would be gone about 104 days after this recording in the ill fated plane crash in Clear Lake, Iowa on February 3rd 1959 The Day The Music Died.
I can remember our first grade teacher writing his name on the board the Monday after the plane crash. I knew who he was bc my mom always had the radio on. This teacher was probably in her late 40's ( ancient at the time) and no doubt loved his music so she made mention of it. Therefore I will never forget when this great talent passed. I'm also a huge fan of Ritchie Valens. La Bamba is one of the best recordings in rock and roll history imo and it was a revamped Mexican folk tune. Two great talents who left us way too soon. If there's a rock and roll heaven..... they are THERE.
In the movie, one of the musicians pointed out that Beethoven used the pizzicato to represent rain. It was news to Buddy. What a genius. Who else was using strings in the late fifties! Melody Gardot added strings in her second album to "simplify the music". Her producer apparently said something like, "Simplify? By adding 30 more instruments???" There are plenty of genius young song writers/singers today. We just don't hear about them.
Did I hit nerve ? Your words mean little to me. Your humor is lacking. Your rant answered my question. Have a wonderful life and make sure you take your meds.
Today on the 59th year since Buddy's passing, It is (Raining in my heart) and it will continue raining come September 7th all the way till the day I die. R.I.P.
The weatherman in Lubbock says clear today often, When I was in there, a blizzard from the north was menacing. I took off for Roswell and happened to know the ET-Weirdos there. The blizzard still was in my back, so I fed and arrived in boring LA.

This is one of Buddy's best songs and it has amazing sound quality for 1959.
It was recorded in 1958.
I wish the good old music I grew up on. There were no cussing and no vulgar words. Just good ole dancing music. You can hear a song from the 50's and you can always remember the boy you liked when the song came out.

the late, great buddy holly!! five stars on your great video, darklord. holly wrote so many great songs for such a short life.
david
Roy Gene and Buddy the three greatest Rock singers on the planet
The four people who disliked this probably did for the silence at the end, but that is no reason to dislike a Buddy Holly song...
From the gritty rockabilly of the Nashville sessions to the later syrupy string drenched ballads...it's all so well done!!
i have to say tis is my all time favourite buddy holly song, thanks for posting
Lovely! So sweet!
this is a great song from a great singer
My favorite of his.

Simply Magical. So simple and yet so full of brilliance. The orchestration adds a dimention which is classical too. Oh for the days of my youth !
น้ำตาตกใน......
(ฝนตกในใจฉัน)
Preciosa cancion, sin lugar a dudas.
Si no hubiese fallecido por ese trágico accidente, la musica seria diferente hoy en dia.Estupenda canción.

Favorited your great upload of a very wonderful song- - liking it earned 31 points for your work.
Helix (TV show) led me to this song - great!
Right on. I'm watching the show on Netflix. I was not familiar with this song at all until the show. Thanks Helix! :D
I'm a 'yute' and I'd gladly buy this over most other tracks now a days... jus' sayin' :)
I went to many parties where this album was the only music played.

I sang this song to a sweet girl who told me good bye. I was 14 and heart broken. How did Buddy know how I felt.
He was banging her on the qt.
some people are idiots and some people prove it which on are YOU
Did I hit nerve ? Your words mean little to me. Your humor is lacking. Your rant answered my question. Have a wonderful life and make sure you take your meds.
That is so sweet, I wish there were more boys in my generation more like that.
+ William Schilling You got the thumb up, he got the bird. Guy kind of looks like some kind of a bug.
Great, great.
Today on the 59th year since Buddy's passing, It is (Raining in my heart) and it will continue raining come September 7th all the way till the day I die. R.I.P.
Definitivamente esta es la mejor versión de todos los cantantes y de todos los tiempos, aunque la más famosa es la de Leo Sayer
The song was written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant. They also wrote many of the Everly Brothers' hits.
