dont be afraid to branch out to new things like this even if they dont get the attention they deserve, this was very well made and kept my attention throughout, great job.
As an avid Luigi's Mansion enjoyer, played the game over and over again in my childhood, some advice: The whirlie dancing ghosts are visible when you're on one of them spinning disks and facing away. After some time you can hear the male dancer shout in excitement "aaahhh!", creating an opening. Yes I've played the game 50+ times, I know it better than my own mum.
When I was a tiny child, this game was scary to me. Now, I remember it as being very fun. When I discussed it with a friend and we were talking about sucking up boo’s, my mother thought we were talking about alcohol.
Superb video, my gf and I watched this whole thing in bed and loved it. Ik a lot of creators can feel pigeonholed into only making videos on one thing but this felt like such a natural progression for you and your channel. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say I would watch dozens more videos like this from you. Can’t wait to see more man.
durrbill, that was great and you have a real knack to capsulize what made these video games so memorable and charming. Look forward to seeing your other projects.
Great video! Luigi's Mansion was something I grew up with (even though it wasn't my generation; I was a Wii U kid). Even 12-year-old me, with newer and far more impressive games, thought it was fantastic!
I imagine this is exactly what Im looking for. Thank you. I was feeling like watching Luigi Mansion stuff today and the Iceburg voice was boring to me. You have energy that I enjoy.
Hell yeah this is a blast, would love to see you branch out and do more casual analyses on other things you're passionate about. Keep up the good work, and have a lovely day.
I love the way you emphasize the glitches/flaws of the game as part of the appeal, because I feel the same way! So many retrospectives either dote on the game by showing off everything it did amazingly, or criticizing it for all the problems. The GameCube jank is part of the charm! Great video!
The dancing ghosts just get vulnerable whenever tjey strike a Pose. But when I was a kid i coincidantly Knochen against the wall in that moment. It took me 10 years to realize I can stop doing that.
Pretty good video bro, keep it up. Should probably not reference how other people have done this so much... so much, though. We really only need to here that like once or twice, at that point, we get it. Most people who do vidoes like this honestly just do nostalgic nintendo games, remember they literally only like those and maybe 1 token other game, then stop or go do movies or whatever, so its really not a big deal its been done before.
" for the first time in your life, you wish to put an iron sight on a vaccum cleaner. " i probaly would have wished that sooner but i prefer bashing people to death with the nozzle instead of firing things at em.
As a kid the first Nintendo console I ever had was a Wii. I learned it could play games from the previous console, so I got those with the controller needed. However, I didn't have a memory card, so there wasn't much I could do. I basically had to do a no death run of Luigi's Mansion, which I wasn't able to do, the third boss kicked my ass. But I'll always remember this little experience I had.
Recently got gamecube back last two years and been collecting classic games back; Mario party 4 and 7 Luigi’s mansion Super mario sunshine of course (which was the hardest to find)
Just got done playing this game for the first time and am so mad about that last boo lol after fighting the big boo boss on the balcony and those boo's counting as part of the 50 I got to 49 and quick looking because I assumed King Boo was number 50. Nooooooooo lmao
Hey durrbill, im curious what the name of your aussie scattergun references? :o Is it something in your own life? I finally got around to watching the whole video by the way, loved it!
Luigi mansion is a Buggy game like Spy backstabbing. First time i played it i probably never encountered a glitch, when I see a UA-cam video about luigi mansion glitches and exploits, there is a lot and for a casual player there is a small chance getting that lucky trick stab.
dark moon is pretty fun and is overall underrated, and three i haven't played but seems to be a really good refinement on dark moon's formula. i think they're just trying to do different things than the first game and im fine with that
Where has you been all this time? I never played the Gamecube the only sixth generation console i had was the ps2 and my childhood was ratchet and clank, sly (pls don't laugh) and lego games so i never played a mario game until i had a dsi in 2009 but something that always amazes me about mario is the number of genres and spinoffs that he has had and doing so well it seems that it is the the only ip that does it well something that i would like more ips know how to do well ( i am watching you sonic chronicles) just imagine what kind of games we can get a diablo-like arpg or side-scrolling shooter of fallout , an action-platformer of pokemon or a metroidvania of ratchet and clank instead what we get was a mobile game of doom it can be a 20$ top down shooter of doom but instead we get a mobile money-hungry game that no one asked it just a shame what aaa videogame industry has become.
today i analyze the game created by shigeru miyamoto, which he created after being inspired by his experiences of playing on ctf_well as a spy

I agree.

I've seen like... 20 video essays for this game but you managed to keep it enjoyable to watch and easy to listen to and pay attention. Good stuff.

Gotta say, I never expected a guy who already made videos on ONE of my favorite games of all time to make a video of my favorite game of all time!
Great video! Luigi's Mansion was something I grew up with (even though it wasn't my generation; I was a Wii U kid). Even 12-year-old me, with newer and far more impressive games, thought it was fantastic!
Never thought I would be the first to comment under THE Danerade! You’re a really cool guy, keep it up!
Paper guy!

Damn, this made me wanna boot up Luigis Mansion again, what a great game.
2:41 hey nitro rad. I found another person who looks to make Luigi spin around

Good, fun, honest and modest review. Thanks for bringing back some good memories! Would not mind listening to another GC game analysis or two!
first video from you and I really enjoy your vibe. it helps that you're talking about my fav game of all time (yes, I know).
i love the pfp man
Love this video!! Super happy you made this!!!
tthank you for appealing to my autistic hyperfixation doing bil
Lmao I'm also hyperfixating on Luigi's mansion at the moment
they said it couldn't be done... he is becoming whiter
The dancing boss ghosts appear when you are on the spinning dance floors with them. This one also confused me a bit as well.
FINALLY A VIDEO ESSAY THAT ISN'T 9 HOURS LONG
Those are my fav

I will always support Luigi’s Mansion, hell, any well made gamecube content. Excellent video, really enjoyed it.
13:12 actually his backstory stated he was born a ghost. But sue pea is stated to actually be the spirit of a dead child
Awesome Video Bro!!

26 minute "casual analysis" btw
This and Basket Case are criminally underrated as hell.
Loved this game as a kid and I'm still such a big fan of the series.
definitely need more content like this 10/10 vid.
the game-cube is just the best dude.
Mario kart double dash, ocarina of time and Luigi's Mansion are incredible games.
Recently got gamecube back last two years and been collecting classic games back;
Mario party 4 and 7
Luigi’s mansion
Super mario sunshine of course (which was the hardest to find)
babe, new durrbill just dropped
not what i expected to see from you, but a welcome surprise
thank you durrbill chan
I remember trying to vacuum all the (infinife) dust for like an hour at a time as a kid
7:25 I figured it out! You can notice ghost mice going in and out of the hole.
Great video! Love me some cube games
Really great video, I hope to see more like it. Please consider paper mario games, mario and luigi games, or one of the mario sports titles. :)
i have good news
Who's your most fav portrait ghost and least fav portrait ghost?
BABE WAKE UP NEW DURRBILL
Just got done playing this game for the first time and am so mad about that last boo lol after fighting the big boo boss on the balcony and those boo's counting as part of the 50 I got to 49 and quick looking because I assumed King Boo was number 50. Nooooooooo lmao
Back at it again with another ... Luigi's Mansion video? Alrighty then.
im the biggest fan of the entire luigi's mansion series on earth
Hey durrbill, im curious what the name of your aussie scattergun references? :o Is it something in your own life? I finally got around to watching the whole video by the way, loved it!
YEAAA LUIGI’S MANSION

One of the best games

It would be cool If you made a video talking about the 3DS remake
That thumbnail tho
Good video
What are your thoughts on it's sequels?
dark moon is pretty fun and is overall underrated, and three i haven't played but seems to be a really good refinement on dark moon's formula. i think they're just trying to do different things than the first game and im fine with that

Get more in to games like this and forget about TF2, I loved this video.

hello durrbill c:
Wait this isn't looking like a tf2
Isn't tf2 so youtube literally just gutters it, didn't even get a notification for the video.
