- Sunset & sunrise flights by two classic model airplanes from the 1930s & 40s, the Gollywock and the Spartan Bomber, from the Jimmie Allen series. If ur looking for a model that really soars, either of these are a great choice. They're easily two of my favorite non-scale models, giving me hours of enjoyment. Filmed with a Canon PowerShot SX20, and iPhones 11 Pro & 14 Pro. Music: "Natasha" by Ben Winwood, and "An Awakening" by David Morton, via ArtList.

I know I can hit the “ like” button before I watch, haven’t been wrong yet, thanks for posting
It is still amazing how tissue and rubber bands can carry so many dreams so high in the sky. These are the most beautiful videos on the internet.
Thx, I've really enjoyed exploring FF against the ever changing sky.
@maxfliart I am excited as I recently found a huge park here outside of Orlando where there is room to fly. I have a couple of kits and will be building soon. While I never stopped building kits, this will be my first serious try at modifying for rubber flight. As teenagers my brothers (also master modelers) and I determined that Guillows could not fly on rubber and gave up. It will be different from the RC planes and scale rockets I usually fly.
Never fails to lift me up when I am feeling down.
This must be what flying model airplanes in Heaven must be! Just beautiful. I'm definitely taking one of my planes with when I go...........
A perfect blend of art and aviation, beautiful.
This place is like the heaven!
I would like to be there!
Thankyou for sharing your gift
Masterful trimming

Your videos keep me sane!
Simply Brilliant !
Wish I could give this ten thumbs up!
Absolutely beautiful, Thank you for posting.
How can you beat that perfect R.O.G.? Stunning, Beautiful, Brilliant as always. Thanks Tom.
I came to watch the planes, but was blown away by the beauty and inspiration...well done!
As always;
Thank you so much for sharing, this incredibly beautiful, upstate New York, flying experience!
Thanks for sharing.
( It means a lot to me).
Just wanted to add a thank you for sharing your models and the flights. I (we) do appreciate them. 🙏
You create magic flights
NICE! The 'wock is always a good flier, but that Spartan Bomber flies as if on rails!! Thanks for sharing!
that's one beautiful sky shot
MAJESTUEUX ET GRANDIOSE!
Encore une magnifique vidéo pleine de poésie!!!🤗
Et cette LUNE...What a MOOOoon!!!⛺🌜🌕🌠
It is good to watch your "old" models taking the sky again!!!😉
I just love these two models...
The Gollywock seems to be hanging in the sky and lands vertically.
Watching your videos that I eagerly wait has always been a real "soothing moment" for me at the end of the day!😊
Props to you!!!😎👍
Thx. She puts her nose directly into the prevailing breeze, if any, and seems to activate the slo-mo...but that's her true speed. I'm forever amazed.
It's funny, as I watched this video I suddenly realized this is the Gollywock that flew into the corn in Muncie (as reported in the AMA magazine). I was amazed by the commitment of everyone out there to find this tiny collection of balsa sticks and paper over the next two days! That's when I realized what these little creations really mean to the builders/owners as well as the community.
Wow. Beautiful Tom.
Everything I feel had been already mentioned in the comments below. So just many thanks. Hope we'll get your videos for a long time. You are really an inspiration.
Man, those colours were just breathtaking, as were your incredible models. What a beautiful part of the world.
Wow...Amazing builds...Amazing flying...even the videos are amazing...Art in motion...!
I am at a loss for words, Tom! The artistic beauty of your builds, flights, and filming capture so much of my emotion:) I hope to meet on the field again one day to enjoy it in person and sincerely appreciate your efforts in posting the videos that you make!
Magnificent!
Simply beautiful!
I agree with Harry!
I do not think I have, nor ever will see, a free flight model land with such gentle precision and poetry as that Gollywock did. Bravo! A handshake.
Surely the nearest thing to magic.
Noel
Thx, Noel. My head got turned for the first time four years ago with the Gollywock, showing me what I'd been missing all these years. I love the grace and nostalgia of Old Time Rubber ships.
Great video again! And the crispy paper due to morning humidity.... Thank you!
Absolute Magic! Great soundtrack too! Well done!
Thank you Tom. Keep it coming mate! Cheers, Marc, Devon UK
Thanks Max, these vids are so gripping. i find myself enthrawled everytime i watch these bringing back all thos tosses into the wind and the many memories as a youngster building rigging and taking flight with em as released three my finga tips into gods beautiful unknown. Cheers and thanks always🫡🤙
your videos are always so good. i never realized that what I was really looking for in model avaition was free flight, and Ive been in model avatition since I was 10 years old. Im now 47 and am really excited to get into this form of model aviation. Its so pure and beautiful. So scientific, engineering based and pure art all rolled into one amazing package.
Thx, welcome to the hobby. I hope u find a home with free-flight. I picked it up unexpectedly when I was 36 after years of rockets, flying small RC and U/C. Changed my life and have enjoyed it for over 30 years. It was just what I needed too.
Wonderful video !
Your videography continues to be superb👌
They're just sticks and tissue but the way they fly never ceases to amaze me, simply beautiful.
Mate that is outstanding .
Serene.
Wow wow wow.
Can there be a better day than every day we fly?
Back to the basics: my youth long gone with my father flying small bees 😢

模型飛行機の原点ですね✨素敵です😊
Beautiful! Truly captures the essence of our wonderful hobby.
真是一种享受!
Beautiful👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A lot of screensavers on this one. Wow.
I can't believe how slow it flies.
Yes, I couldn't believe how tuned in the Gollywock was on that first flight...the landing looked like it was slo-mo, but in fact was real time. Incredible what this bird has shown me thru the years.
Thanks for sharing these videos.
👍👍👍
Really relaxing and wonderful. Both these planes are such firm favourites on your channel Tom. The flying field you've got there is so great (apart from the sprinklers and poss the ditch.. Some lovely flights indeed! ⭐👍
