Hey for some reason i cant answer your comment on my velocity stack video on my channel so ill answer here, yes the vibe gt has 3 inch piping and 2.75 maf on the stock fuel pressure regulator. But in my 87 tercel i run full 3 inch piping and 3" maf at 62psi of fuel pressure (adjustable fpr) and i have around 12.5 afr in lift wich is perfect. Your car may run weird or bad at first but the ecu will adjust.

@@supra1722 yes i run a 03 matrix xrs/vibe gt ecu, and no the afr doesnt seem to change depending on the temperature the ecu does really a great job adjusting i could even go 3.25" maf with the pressure at like 65-67 and im sure it would be fine. and i live in canada wich we have temps under freezing point already and im not leaner
@@supra1722 i plan on eventually going towards a corolla xrs 05-06 reflashed ecu but the 03 xrs ecu still has a lot to offer and now there is plenty of tools to use to help us go in the right direction like obd2 and gforce based phone apps like TORQUEPRO and PERFEXPERT, by example with those apps i can know that i run aroune 24 degrees of ignition advance in lift while the 05-06 ecu runs about 29, i also knwo that my 3" intake reads about 130g/s of peak reading in lift while the stock airbox and 2.5 pipes read about 160. I also know that i pull 0.31G in 3rd gear in my tercel while my friend in his mostly stock vibe gt 03 pulls around 0.28g in second gear. And that i make around 195bhp with my current setup and that i used to have only 175 with my 2.5" intake and used to only have 0.26G in 3rg gear with the 2.5". I haven’t touched the manifold but i’ve been through the OEM bendy exhaust to a smaller muffler welded to the bendy exhaust to full on cutting off all the bends and having a pipe with an amazon muffler tip welded to the y-pipe and it is loud and pops. sometimes i wear earplugs while driving. sounds great though, no where near what Dseries hondas sound like. It makes me want a 20v 4age but the 2zz looks so tempting
@@Malice_dollI got a 2zzge swapped e12 3dr that’s straight piped from the manifold into a jap back box and she pops every time u tap the accelerator between 2-3k revs, also extremely loud measured 113db on redline with a tester
the 2ZZ is worlds lighter but it makes all of its power up top. sounds great. the 3S has the advantage of displacement and boost, much better midrange, torque, and power. 2ZZ maintains/improves balance with weight savings over 4AGE.

Been thinking about strait piping my 4age because i have a ehxust leak most likely a cracked manifold so might as well do the whole thing

@@Malice_doll wasn't the manifold 2 of the 3 nuts were missing on the down pipe so got a new gasket and 3 new nut to be safe and problem fixed
