@@crtmn5242 there's no repercussions in this game for anything and choices don't matter, only this quests are exclusive each house has a unique quest for Jackdaw. you don't need slytherin house for the curses. Aside from this sequence on the story there's no difference between houses.

Yeah it’s different for each house. Hufflepuff goes to Azkaban, Slytherin does a thing with a house-elf, Gryffindor has to help Nearly Headless Nick with a favor, and Ravenclaw gets a puzzle in the Owlery to solve
For Slytherin you have to retrieve a ring from a cave for a House Elf. And for Gryffindor you also get to visit the Kitchen, but you can visit the kitchen after the Jackdaw missions for all houses. It's pretty great.
For Ravenclaw, you fetch an heirloom of Ollivander's in an Owlry, and while there, you solve a puzzle made by Jackdaw himself. It's pretty simple and rather underwhelming compared to the others.
Kinda dumb how this is Hufflepuff only, I thought Azkaban wasn't in this game so I had to spoil myself this because I chose a different house. Thus having to look it up.
I actually enjoyed going up to the owlery and seeing the view. Definitely better than a 10min quest with only dialogue imo. It would be different if you could actually explore Azkaban

You don’t even do anything. 7 minutes of dialogue and you walk down 1 corridor of Azkaban for another 2 minutes of dialogue. I got the same enjoyment watching it on here and I didn’t have to choose the worst house.
Well, it is canon that Hufflepuff was well established as the 'reject house'. Helga Hufflepuff always got the leftover students after the other founders cherry picked their favorites.

Hufflepuff was the only House to never produce a dark wizard, and the only one but Gryffindor to have every defend Hogwarts. Some of the most talented wizards to come from Hogwarts have been Hufflepuff like Newt Scamander.

this is just from the top of my head , they made it plain and linear , also the only big difference for choosing different houses is 1 quest , thats it , and common rooms
