I just bought a DR 650… Plan on doing the dirt devil during the week of the May 20th 2024.. I’ve never been there, but looking forward!!
You will love it. Such a fun ride
Thanks for the ride fam
You’re welcome!
You guys rode through some beautiful country. I'm going to have to come up there one day and do some moto camping.
Benny it was pretty amazing. I can’t wait to get back out there. Thanks for watching.
Fun video. I live down in Manchester and just bought my first dualsport. I'd love to do this route sometime. Great work!
Thanks Shawn! I think you have some decent riding over your way though. Isn’t Franklin State Forest out that way? I heard there are some decent places to ride there.
There's tons of beautiful roads over here. I'm not sure where Franklin State Park is. I mostly ride these beautiful hilly, curvy back roads. Fall Creek Falls is close and is beautiful. My name is Brent Scott. @@Matt.Bogosian
@@Bscott-390 nice. What dualsport bike did you end up buying?
I bought a 21 KTM 390 Adventure. I've done tons of mods. This weekend I put an FuelX lite tuner and an open top air box. It's a little rocket. It's my first bike. Loving every minute of it. I haven't done much offroad yet, but really wanna go over to Dickson county and ride some of that gravel and for sure want to make my way up to the mountains and ride some of those forest service roads.

@@Bscott-390 Nice! That's a sweet bike. I love my 690. It's a little bit tall but I think I can get a lowering link to solve that problem.
I really want to try this. I live near Nashville.
It’s worth the trip down. Definitely not a hard ride but it’s a fun little adventure for sure.
I live in burwood and would love to ride this! Let me know when ya'll ride anywhere again please!
Man I love this little trail. Is this that 55mile loop just a little South and West of Franklin? Sure looks fun
Yes that’s it!
@@Matt.Bogosianhow do you get there ?
@@Aceinfinity-le8zc just google the Tn Dirt Devil and you should find a map and directions.
I don't know how to find this, I googled it but I cant find details on it. Where to park where to enter?
These are actually public roads so there isn't a parking area. We rode our bikes there from the Thompson's Station area.
Great video. I keep hearing about this place. I’m in Franklin and have a KTM 450 EXC that’s plated so I’m about to explore this place. But I plan to haul mine there since I’m more limited on fuel range than y’all. I haven’t picked up the map yet but would you say there are fuel options that aren’t hours apart? I always carry about a gallon with me. Just need to know how to prepare.
So there was one gas station that we stopped at however, I’m not really super familiar with everything around there. I was basically just following a friend.
@@Matt.Bogosian All good. Like I said, I’ll have extra fuel regardless. But your video is much appreciated for those of us gathering information before heading that way.
@@jeremymayle I'd be down to join you. Just shoot me a text at 615-270-9604 and we can work something out.
@@Matt.Bogosian Sounds great. I’ll let you know when I get that scheduled for sure!
@@jeremymayle sounds good man.
I've ridden the dirt devil for years but I've never seen that big creek crossing? Where is that?
I was just following some friends so I don’t think so could tell you exactly where it’s at. Maybe it’s not technically on the Dirt Devil? 🤷♂️
Ok thanks...I'd love to find it ...looks great
The Creek at about two minutes is at the bottom of Ben Fly road. I think the creek is Lick Creek. The several creeks afterwards are on Tatum Creek Rd.
Where is the trail entrance? I just got a Tacoma and this place looks perfect for first time off-roading. Thanks!
Dylan technically these are public roads. We started at Dutch Potter Rd. You can actually buy a map online and they will mail it to you. I got one and it’s pretty cool. It’s like an old pirates map. Haha
where does this road start? and why are you always blipping your throttle?
Google the TN Dirt Devil and you can download the gpx file. I’m blipping it because I love the sound and it’s fun to me. You should hear me on my 690 with an upgraded exhaust. 🤣😂
Looks Rad!! I dont care for the name "devil" in anything. But ill be visiting this spot!
Yeah man it’s worth checking out. I need to get back out there soon.
Awesome video. Where is this located? Me and my kids ride ATVs and live in Nashville. Also, is there a price?
Thank you.
Tony these are actually public roads so you have to have a registered vehicle with plates to ride on them. We all ride dual sport bikes with plates.
@@Matt.Bogosian oh ok thanks for letting me know. That would of been awkward if we showed up lol. I am having trouble finding somewhere other than Natchez Trace State park to go riding with the kids. Would you have any suggestions. I appreciate the response by the way.
@@tonyc4378 At about the same distance from Nash, check out Turkey Bay in The Land Between the Lakes.
@@Matt.Bogosian I just bought a KLX300 and have been looking for something just like this. I am just outside of Nashville too. I have got to find this place. Can you give me a GPS location.
@@nnchico1 look up the TN Dirt Devil. I can also try to find the name of the road where we started.
