  • Heather and I had a blast riding Windrock Park in Oliver Springs, TN on our 2020 Honda CRF250F's. The views were amazing, the trails were all labeled very clearly, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the riding was awesome! Definitely would recommend and we will be back! Thanks for watching our adventures!

      Cool you all are getting into dirt bikes. Advice: always stand up when navigating any rocky trails especially on the descent. and carry more speed. going to slow will make a tip over much more likely.

    So awesome!! Imo one of the best parts about dirt bikes is that if you see a spot you wanna go to...paved or not, you can just go there😂 that's one thing that really held me back on my street bike was it felt like my adventures were limited to paved roads when I really wanted to explore more "hidden" wonders that dirt roads/trails lead to. Glad you two are loving it so far! Looking forward to the next video🤘🏻

      @SALTxTHExWOUND  Рік тому +1

      Thank you Reese! An enduro would be a lot of fun for that as well but we don’t have many off-road trails in our area so we figured we would just commit to only dirt in our case. You probably have a lot of trails and off-road in your area. Thanks for watching, definitely a lot more to come 😊

    Try and get into the habit of keeping your feet on the pegs, the bike will be more balanced and stable just like your gixxer. You picked a great location guy’s

    What intercom headset are you guys using?

      It is a blast up there, make sure you get a map and a good plan before you leave the main parking area as there's not much signal up there. I'm hoping we can make it back out there! and we have the SENA SMH20 headsets I believe

    I see you had a nice Dual Sport weekend here. I was in the same places as you in this video, I rode a KTM 500 supermoto with street tires.
    I know, I know...But also there are many curvy pavement around this area. However, I would like to say that it is unnecessary for you to pay for this, if you are looking for this type of riding, you can ride hundreds of miles Dual Sport trail for free in GA. Windrock is much more than that. We usually buy passes there to ride super hard sections. Besides, there are lots of semi secret track for motorcycles that no one will tell you where to find. Those are called single tracks, a lot of them very steep, technical sections. If you want to see more, if you like a challenge, if you feel you can do more let me know.

      That's awesome! We also rode highland park in GA a couple days after this, what places do you recommend in GA?

    • @endurowarrior
      @endurowarrior 8 місяців тому

      @@SALTxTHExWOUND Dual Sport in GA? Hmmmm, let see....I did 350 miles in a day. There are so many forest roads in GA, it would be hard to recommend any of them. Some are very difficult sections, some are easier. I know a lot of them. Like I said, I easily did 350 miles in a day, but there were a couple of hard sections that two of them turned back and never came back with me again. Long time ago I bought an off road GA map on the internet that a local guy was selling, it had an insane amount of forest roads on it. The SM500 is boring, for old people with big heavy bikes. I have a loop of my own design, full of hard sections. If I do it again next year I'll let you know. But for now I'm doing more of an exploratory ride in the deepest woods. I'm very selective about who I go with, because I've pushed other people's bikes too much, and I haven't been able to do half of the planned trip because of their paralysis. But, Suches, Helen, Ellijay, tons of free trails and camp site.
