One error I made: Alexander was building a fleet to invade Arabia before he died, so most likely he would have attacked from the Persian gulf instead of going all the way around to attack from Sinai.
Very nice video!! My hypothetical scenario where Alexander didn't die took a completely different route. It is amazing to see how different people envision the same event with a completely different trajectory.
If Alexander had lived another 20 years all of Europe,Mideast & Near Asia would have been conquered & unified. If it remained united a future campaign for the rest of Asia would have been inevitable. Thus a true World Empire to ultimately cross the oceans.
Cool vid! I wonder though, while showing the maps of Alexander's empire, why not map out the surrounding countries? Were there too many of them, were the surrounding lands morel like tibes than kingdoms? It seems like this is a common occurrence with videos on ancient history, while videos on more modern subjects map out the surrounding nations. Why is this?
A lot of fog of war. There were surrounding countries but it was hard to know where one started and another ended. Also there is not so much information about those as far as i know or if there is, it is very obscure.

I wonder how this would be when Rome started to rise a few centuries later, assuming it still would
Amazing video 🤟
Haha nice video. Underrated content creator
thank you so much ;-;
stop the dickriding bro
Interesting video, but Aleksander also would conquer Carthage.
This guy went all around the known world looking for fights. Clearly dying young was his life goal.
His armies or old age would be the only thing stopping him.. well and death...
Pls make an part 2
Judaea would still revolt as in our timeline. Especially given the attempt to force their religion on the region.
Good ending
here before the salty Indians appear 😂
Some people still don't want to recognize that Alexander beat Porus. 🤷♂
