    If you can get a consistent 12% return on your investments, your money could double in about six years. It’s all about reinvesting your gains and letting them compound over time.

      That makes sense. Compounding is powerful, especially when you start early. The tricky part is actually getting that 12% return consistently. The market can be so unpredictable.

      Exactly. It sounds great on paper, but how do you find investments that can reliably give you 12%. I’ve been trying to figure that out myself, but it’s tough.

    • @Patrick-x1h
      @Patrick-x1h 13 днів тому

      It is tough. One thing that’s helped me is focusing on a mix of growth stocks, dividend-paying companies, and some real estate investments. It’s not easy, but with the right strategy, I’ve been able to come close to that 12% goal

      That’s impressive. I’ve been too cautious with my investments, sticking mostly to bonds and low-risk options. I’m starting to think I should be more aggressive if I want to see real growth.

      It’s all about finding that balance. I was in a similar position until I started working with Eric Paul Elmer, my CFP. He’s really good at helping you develop a strategy that aligns with your goals, whether you’re aiming for that 12% or just looking for steady growth.

    One thing I have learned about the stock market is that it is very very manipulated. It will not let investors know when it go up or down. It will always do the opposite what investors think it might do... If investors can figure out what the market is going to do, companies will go bankruptcy.... So I don't waste my time and energy to bother what the market is going to do...... for me .. Long & short-term trading is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Linda Wilburn, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

      The same high-yield potential exists in both bullish and bearish situations; what matters is how information and technique are used. Not neglecting professional advice.

      What impresses me most about Linda is how well she explains basic concept of winning before actually letting you use her trade signals. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades.

    He hasn't even touched upon the risks taken by investors for the extra 3 % returns. It's exactly what led to the global financial crisis of 2008 in US and led to the fall of too big to fail companies like Lehmann bros etc and spooked the global equity markets for 6 years ,some thing he himself acknowledged in a way!

    it is really sad that you have not explicitly mentioned the probability and possibility of default in each of this cases. These two business models ( bank vs asset management ) are fundamentally different interim of risk ownership, even for similar risk profile . Bank carry the risk of default and thus earn higher spread. Risk of default is a passthrough for the asset manager and thus earn lower spread, while the investor have to carry that ultimate risk to earn a higher return.

    It looks so ' smart ' and ' intellectual ' to talk and know, but in all practical terms the ending statements sum it up saying 'understand inherent risks' , and it kills the 'predictable and stable' nature that is highlighted.
    Unfortunately , investirs fall to smart talk like this and I always say if ine is in financial field 'business' , the more one talks 'smart and intellectual' the more the people like, follow and invest

    Not helpful. It’s taking undue risk in unknown territory like investing thru new age online platforms.
    Better invest in debt and equity to balance risk and generate 10-12%.
    KISS ( kiss it simple stupid) principal.
