- Ramadan Mubarak everyone! This is literally my favorite month of the year I am so excited even though we are under unusual circumstances..I always feel so at peace and I hope you guys are feeling great as well. I literally just realized that this is my first Ramadan being married, pregnant AND not living with my mom and sisters lol!
I will have more Ramadan related content throughout this month so let me know what you guys would want to see! I hope this month brings us all nothing but blessings, and I pray Allah accepts out prayers and fasts. I pray we all strengthen our iman and become better people coming out of it! FYI Aadam totally doesn’t care if I eat in front of him. It was the first day and he was going through it so I was just trying to make it a little easier on him. (Also he ended up saying the smell of the food actually helped his headache LOL)

Is it suggested to fast during the early, or the latter part of pregnancy? People comment about development concerns.
Going for the Gig I believe the latter would be easier but I think it depends on your pregnancy..I can’t imagine fasting in the first trimester! It would be so hard😩

There are plenty of authentic Hadith a about the pregnant and breastfeeding woman. There is no need to police pregnant or breastfeeding women during Ramadan when Allah made certain things conditional and a mercy. If she feels harm to herself or her baby she may feed people for each day missed. Very simple.
missed due to pregnancy or breastfeeding. Here are some of the proofs for that position:
1. Ibn ‘Abbās (radiyallāhu ‘anhumā) said: “If the pregnant woman fears for herself, or the breastfeeding woman for her child in Ramadān, then they are to break their fast and in place feed a poor person for each day and they are not to make up the missed days.”[1]
2. Ibn ‘Abbās (radiyallāhu ‘anhumā) saw the mother of his child who was either pregnant or breastfeeding, so he said: “You are from those who fasts with much difficulty. Upon you is to feed in the place of your fast, a poor person for each day missed, and there is no making up the missed days upon you.”[2]
I’m glad I saw you eat my husband would never even let me try to fast while pregnant! I’m further than you I think but yeah it’s important to eat for baby. Also you guys are so young I get the not eating in front of him but this is my sons first year doing Ramadan and my husband makes me breakfast and he just wants it’s to be a normal thing for everyone so they get used to it especially in school. But yeah you guys will figure out a good flow insaallah

I definitely was not moving like this at 20 or soo weeks pregnant ! I had morning sickness & vomiting my ENTIRE pregnancy up into the delivery ! I honestly dont know how my son came 8lbs 4oz ...Nothing but the Almighty ! You're soo lucky!! Its gonna be interesting to see how you guys routine change with the baby! Many blessings 😊💕

100% agree with you! Some women are able to fast and others are not. It's a choice and every woman is different. If there's a risk to you or your baby it actually becomes haram for you to fast so people need to mind their business as they're opinions are really not necessary, as women we know our own bodies.
I tried fasting day 1 but being so close to my due date (now 34 weeks) I had to break it as I struggled. Hubs thought I was crazy for even attempting but I wanted to try and there's no harm in that.

I fasted the whole month except one day ramadhan 2017 and i was heavily pregnant, nothing happened to my baby, obviously it depends with how you feel, and nothing happens to your baby, big up sis

Also coming from a mom . Fasting does not put the baby in danger . The baby is getting everything he/she needs from your body/storage . I've fasted multiple times. I mean as long as you feel fine and your healthy . But however ladies check with your doctors 😊
fasting is hard depending on how long you do it well it is hard anyways but even harder if you do it super long!! But love this video ❤️

not sure if this is just me but i dont see the issue when women, esp pregnant, eat infront of other people? do they not have the capacity to understand not everyone fasts, and self restraint? i get that its to be “nice” not to eat infront of others but its hella weird lol
BlueMontainx there’s no issue. My husband really doesn’t care..but if I can help it, I prefer to not be super blatant about it especially when he is struggling.

Ikr Allah has permitted pregnant not to fast yet people shame them it’s so annoying. I was shamed once but honestly I did not even care because I have low iron during pregnancy and have to eat.
Abisoye Ojulari it’s said to not blatantly eat in front of those who are fasting in a rude matter obviously you need to eat but if you can do it in private why not some people are very rude and munch loudly on their food in order to annoy those who fasts
