I bought this, used it for ~3 weeks, and it just shut off one night. I thought it was overheated, clogged, or maybe a wire was shorted, so I disassembled it and checked it out. Couldn't see any problem, so I took it back to HF and got a replacement. Three weeks later the replacement has done the same thing; it shut off on its own, and hasn't come back on in a couple of days. I'm only using this to vacuum up sawdust in my small shop, and I clean the filter every time I empty it -- what am I doing wrong?

The water spitting out the back is VERY counter productive!!
It's 2023 and bought one today for $120..inflation is unbelievable. It did have a lot more attachments .

Take the filter off for wet operation. I just read the instructions on mine.

Why does water/debris shoot out the back exhaust port? I called Bauer but no help. Makes no sense that when in vaccum mode to have agitated air blasting out the backside. Anybody got thoughts on this? Other than that it works well. Thanks for your insight.
Can it be used as a extractor
Can this be used at home as a normal indoor vacuum? it has a hepa filter.
This was a helpful video, thank you! Looking for a shopvac today and it's between the Craftsman and the Bauer. Shopvac traditionally did the same stingy attachment policy, likely because they charged almost as much for the attachment (e.g., a hose) as the vac itself! Much like if you buy a (quality) pan for the kitchen. You want lid? $49 more for you!!
Just purchased but only 1 attachment, which find dumb, other that great vacuum so l have to buy extra attachments
Or my old shop vac attachments are to big fit on any suggestions??
Yeah I feel Its dumb to only came with one attachment the the other attachment I show I bought at Home Depot you can use any attachment as long as it's 1 7/8in
