I shall remember the name JOE RYAN because anytime I feel depressed, I watch his videos with his beautiful narration editing and his contagious smile. Truly Thankful to you man.
Love these videos i rode these roads a month ago and i missing them already it's weird how many little things i recognise looking forward to seeing your next vids
I did that same route last year Joe - it’s fantastic isnt it. I was in a group (funnily enough the same tour company that you passed - Ride Expeditions). I take your point about the lack of flexibility versus solo, but for me the cameraderie and friends I made outways that, and it was well run so that we could stop whenever we wanted for photos. And the back up van carried the beer 🍻
Yes Jim it is an incredible place to ride and explore. Yes definitely great benefits as you said with the camaraderie and friends, haha and beer trailing you is never a bad thing.
LOL! Every time you encountered those diesel fumes you had me literally holding my breath. Some of those magnificent views started to bring on a vertigo attack ha ha. Ever thought about packing a parachute 🤣 Nice one Joe 👍
Yes lost of hold my breath but at altitude it has it's own dangers haha. Yes a truly stunning and an incredible day on the bike. It's great to hear you enjoyed it.
Simply wonderful! I love that there was a RE Classic on that road too.- proving again that we don't need the biggest and newest bike to travel through beautiful places.
During 2021 covid times, did the same road trip to Leh and after watching your videos just refreshed those memories of that epic and breath-taking journey. Thank you!!
Outstanding as always Joe .... those two famous sentence's of yours .... cant wait to see what's around the next corner and Go with the flow ....the universe always provides for as ... love from NZ roger
Thanks Roger, as always it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. Yes it's amazing home many new things were around the next corner. Yes things seem to work out if you go with it.
De rien, je suis ravie d'entendre que vous avez apprécié l'épisode, j'espère que vous apprécierez le reste de la série. J'ai traversé la Haute Savoie, c'est une belle partie du monde
Well then you know what you need to do......... I hope you enjoyed the episode, there is more t come in the series and well it does get better, this place is incredible
what an epic journey, thanks for taking us with you. It's amazing how often, as a motorcyclist, a helping hand can just appear out of nowhere when things seem to be going a little south. Safe travels!
thank you for the support, it is greatly appreciated and will help with the next journey. Yes amazing how that happens and the people up here in Ladakh are very friendly and kind.
That’s a great days riding . The More plains have changed a lot . It was dirt track last time I went , thick sand . On a bullet 500 . Love your style . I was medic on many organised tours in the Himalayas . Loved it out there , but the altitude was hard for many
These are the most amazing videos for a Royal Enfield owner ❤. (Just a little comment: the altitude in meters is a bit off hahaha it is 4.739,8 m 10:14 )
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. Yer all the signs at the top seem to be a bit off, if they had both the feet and metres a lot of the times they didn't add up to the same height, some being 50m (164ft) deferent so I normally went with the metres measurement I could find. But all of them where spectacular no matter what the number was.
Joe... Another amazing episode mate. Those mountains and the formations and colours. Just amazing. God did an awesome job putting all that together. Cheers mate. 👍🍻
BRO(Boarder road organisation )is working hard to patch up roads, but the problem is erosions in winter and rain. It is non stop rebuilding cycle every year. Visit again after 5 years hopefully all roads must be patched up.
You love it Julian, so much more happens than I can show in these episode and there is no way to capture the actual scenery as awe-inspiring as it is in real life. Don't put it off to much longer they are on a mission to pave all the roads. Thanks for watching.
What an incredible landscape! Always love a great rock formation, and there are plenty here. Watched another video a few weeks ago on Leh, so looking forward to your next one. Cheers,
I love all your videos. You cover everything possible in your episodes. If possible please include drone shots also as this will enhance the experience and the viewers will get more to know about the beauty of Ladakh. I am sure one day all the off roading and water passings will vanish once Tarmac roads are build. Riders will definitely miss them. The real feel of mountains is in adventure rather than sailing on smooth roads. Overall I enjoyed watching your episodes. How was your experience of Himalayas?
@@anuragverma3776 The Himalayas were incredible riding and exploring there is like discovering a different world. There are restrictions on flying drones in the area so I am sticking to the rules and flying where I am allow as I don't want to get into trouble as I want to be able to come back to this amazing place. It's great to hear you are enjoying the series.
Yes there are a lot of them up here. I have seen KTM's and a few other brands, I guess the price point of the RE helps and they have a large service centre up here.
I came across your channel while planning a ride through the beautiful landscapes of New Zealand. Keep inspiring us with your amazing adventures and stunning photos of nature! - Arun from India
even northern and eastern ladakh has some brilliant canvas right across the karakoram pass which are not open for normal public. rivers and stunning gorges with vast open landscapes . hopefully some day.
I've watched a few Himalayan tour vlogs, but yours hit different and so unique. Witnessing it with your eyes is quite breathtaking. I'm grateful for this series.
Wow Joe, what incredible scenery, maybe one day I’ll make it there, such stunning landscapes, thanks everyone so much for continuing to share with us all, be safe out there, never get tired of seeing this place. Take care Rob U.S.
You truly are blessed to experience this journey... Thank you for sharing this incredibly beautiful and magical place with us. Something inside of me is awakened by the sight of those mountains and the majestic barren valleys... something that transports me back in time to a youthful excitement for exploration and the curiosity about the unknown wonders that lie just over the next hill, or up the next ravine... I think I will tackle this journey before I am too old to bike the wilderness...
It is definitely worth the effort of getting there, I can't put it into words or truly capture how stunning it is in images, one of those things best experience in the flesh. It has been an amazing experience and there is still a lot more to come.
Joe, you are up there with Itchy boots in making me feel happier about the world! Many thanks for your journeys and your up beat outlook. Because of you I am buying a Scram 411.. THANKYOU!
Thank you very much for sharing such an amazing trip, I've thoroughly enjoyed every second of this series watching over several days. You make me want to journey myself
Thank you for the support Lee, it is greatly appreciated and will help with the next journey. There are still a lot of episodes to come. It is definitely a great place to ride and explore if you ever get the chance.

Yer it wasn;t the first time that has happen, just part of it up here it seems. Yes the place keeps getting better and better, you'd think I'd get sick of looking at mountains but nope, they are all truely jaw dropping.
Thank you for the amazing walk down the memory lane. I have traveled to Leh twice and it never fails to amaze. Amazing Cinematography and narration. Waiting for episode 5. Kudos and safe travels!
Hi Joe, great video - fog, mud, dust, rocks, hail. It had it all. The colours and rock formations are amazing. Just, beautiful scenery. Thanks Joe, safe riding. Looking forward to next Friday 👍🇦🇺
You had me worried there for a minute, no, not the soft stuff; thought your head was about to unscrew it was turning that much. Incredible video. Using the oxymeter gave me an idea though. I had a stroke a couple of months back and it looks like the heart may have taken a hit too as it's not functioning as it should. Imaging showed the problem (lower blood going to lungs) and oxymeter confirmed it. Getting short of breath doing the usual 10km walk with a pack to do shopping. I've never been short of breath in my life. I've shelved my wee bike project for the moment as I just keep finding more broken and missing bits. At least I have another one I can compare with and generally track down what is missing and get it ordered. I did manage to buy a fourth bike yesterday though, sight unseen. Pick it up Tuesday. Off to a learners motorbike show with my daughter on Sunday. There's no rest for the wicked and it would appear I've been particularly evil. 😉😇

Yes, extremely hard to describe it. In fact I can’t even capture it on camera. It is actually way better in person. It’s great to hear you. Enjoyed the episode.

yes Dave, the people are so kind and helpful, and the scenery is truly mind-blowing, its hard to capture on camera. It's great to hear you are still enjoining the episodes
Thank you as always Larry. Yes it definitely is barren up there, nothing around at all. As I am on the high plato now and the mountain just go up from there it will be a lot of barren section over the next few episodes.
Loving the Himalayas series Joe having watched a few videos on the place find it interesting and reassuring how they keep an eye on the traveler’s with all the check points between the pass’s , glad you found some accommodation it seems it doesn’t matter where in the world you are you’ll always get help from a fellow biker 👍
Yes across the high mountains they try to make sure everyone makes it through. It's great how everyone looks out for each other, I am very thankful Imran was kind enough to offer his wifi then suggest a place.
Mostly a comment for the algorithm (all hail the algorithm), but I did want to say I ran into a couple of Germans on mountain bikes at Taglang La. I was utterly spent just sitting on the Bullet 500 and these crazy Germans had ridden from their homes. At the time I was riding 300 km a week by bicycle back home in Sydney but I could barely walk across the road at Taglang La. (This was also the spot I saw the pigeons run across the road and jump off the cliff to get flying)
Yes it would be a different world trying to ride a bike up there, I came across a few bicycle riders, great lung capacity. Thanks for the love to the algorithm, it does make a difference.
Wow! Incredible Joe. This part of your Motorcycle Adventure dealt you some challenges. Glad you adapt so easily. Your breathing is evident in your video. But, what an amazing country to see. Thanks for sharing with us Viewers. 👏👏👏
Oh what a stunning part of the world, just don't tell anyone, you don't want it spoilt. It's great to hear you are enjoying the series, it's pretty hard not to have a smile on your face here, it is incredible.

Always good value viewing I agree with you I travel alone and only have loose plans I stop when I feel like it and ride some days until I am ready to drop enjoying this series Mango
Always great to hear you enjoyed it, an incredible day in the mountains, should I say really high mountains haha, this place just keeps getting better and better.
Kids get kidnapped when they get offered candy by strangers. For motorcyclists, it's 'motorcycle-friendly-accommodation' :D xD Jokes apart, this reminds me of the time an Enfield rider came to my rescue in Shillong (North-East India) and offered to share his own room with me, when I was desperately looking for an accommodation on one of my rides. Camaraderie ftw!
Thanks, mate, it’s great to hear you are enjoying the series. It’s hard to get a bad photo in the Himalayas. Wherever you look there are amazing scenes.
Hi Joe, wow what another fantastic ride and those views absolutely gorgeous. The wonder a lot of people go to India to ride motorbikes all the different challenges I’m just lost for words are so beautiful I’m so depressed now that I didn’t go and ride there when I had the chance anyway, another direction now , keep up the good work Cliff from Logan City, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺 we’re on the big island

Hi Joe, I'm loving the series so much that I've started to think that I really should do the same trip, thank you so much! and your photos, they are truly beautiful 🤩
It is definitely worth the effort of getting there, it is had to put into words what i is like, it a kind of "you need to experience it" kind of thing. I am going to do a video at the end of the series about going there the first time, what I learnt, hopefully some helpful information if thinking of going.

Beautiful geology.... amazing photos...but what a great journey...I think you're right about riding in a group....cheers..
Yes, the landscape the formation of the mountains. All of it is so interesting. Thanks for watching.
It's great how everyone looks out for each other, I am very thankful Imran was kind enough to offer his wifi then suggest a place.
great episode. I can't imagine riding a push bike along those plains at that altitude, must be so hard.
Thank mate. Yer especially at the tops of passes as I even felt puff putting my backpack back on and getting on the motorbike.
Epic journey in a group. But, going solo as a non resident is off the charts, what a good experience for you. Travel on my brother.
Yes, any journey in the Himalayas would be epic, including in a group but as you say solo, it is mine blowing, thanks for watching
Joe ryan, outstanding videos as always, never fails to impress, plus the mountains, sign me up as one of the biggest fans of your work
It's great to hear you are enjoying the series Saumya. The Himalayas just keeps delivering

@@freewayproject if your ever passing through, you should drop by where i work, its the biggest Aircraft Museum in Australia with flying historic aircraft. 😁
@@DebOxy Ah right near the lake, I have seen it riding through earlier this year, will do next time I am riding past.
@@freewayproject thats it, cant miss it, there is a 747 jumbo jet parked at the door 🥴
Thanks Joe, another brilliant installment of your epic adventure. Look after yourself mate.

Saw the notification in afternoon, finally came home from work , having evening snack with you on tv . Great video loved it ❤
Always great to hear you enjoyed it, an incredible day in the mountains, should I say really high mountains haha, this place just keeps getting better and better.
Kids get kidnapped when they get offered candy by strangers. For motorcyclists, it's 'motorcycle-friendly-accommodation' :D xD
Jokes apart, this reminds me of the time an Enfield rider came to my rescue in Shillong (North-East India) and offered to share his own room with me, when I was desperately looking for an accommodation on one of my rides. Camaraderie ftw!
haha. You do get to meet some great kind people when traveling, which is another joy of the whole experience.
I hope you enjoyed the episode.
@@freewayproject Absolutely enjoyed it! Keep 'em coming please!

Awesome video yet again. Enjoyed. Always look forward to watch your video. Videography, editing, length, script, shots .... 👌
