- Longplay of Bud Tucker in Double Trouble, a classic Point & Click game, with the typical P&C interface, colorful graphics, loads of weird/over the top humor, aaaaaand... pixel hunting. Fokin' pixel hunting. It was developed by Merit Studios (Europe) Limited, and published by Funsoft GmbH/Topware Interactive. It was released in 1996 for the DOS only. This here is played via latest (as of June 2024) version of ScummVM, with several options/scalers, and OpenGL NonBilinear renderer, for the best possible (to my eyes) quality of the visuals. Recorded at 1440p60 H.265 HEVC via OBS.

This wacky adventure puts the player in the shoes of Bud Tucker, a pizza delivery boy during the day and lab assistant at nights.
One day, Bud found the Professor missing and later learns he's been kidnapped by the evil Dick Tate! Tate, an insane, whiny sob wishes to create a world filled with the people he loves most...himself. To do that, he plans to use one of the Professor's invention and clone a billion versions of himself to populate the world. It's up to Bud Tucker to track down the loon and the Professor before Barryville becomes Tate Town.
Bud Tucker in Double Trouble is a point & click adventure where the player explores and uncovers clues in a town called Barryville. The game play consists of picking up items and using it when necessary. The player can perform various actions (pick up, use, etc) which can be displayed in words as well as icons, The game is divided into three parts beginning with Bud Tucker locked up in a crumbly hotel in Seedy Street.

Hullo frens! Bud Tucker in Double Trouble, a 1996 classic DOS point & click game! Very nice cartoon-ish visuals, loads of raunchy/edgy humor (a bit of Brit humor too, I think), and one of the most outstanding examples of how adventure games of the 90s were full of absurd bullcrap and required of the player some MacGyver level of thinking that made no gameplay sense whatsoever. That, plus nasty pixel hunting, with one cherry at the top in the second half here, and you'll probably see for yourself if you care to watch this video closely! (The door, the fokin' door mate)
6/10 - visually great, humor is alright, but the gameplay sucks, it's just all the typical bad things from 90s adventure games mixed in altogether. I might be getting a bit too old for this, maybe as a kid I'd appreciate it or just tolerate it. But now? Nah. xD
