There are no used Norton's that are post 73 or so in Canada but I'm so looking forward to part 2 of this. Norton's are out of my reach at this point but I'm quite happy with my Royal and my Triumph and who knows, good things happen to good people love your vids buddy. Cheers.
I do know one guy who has a 961 Commando, he's in Toronto. You never know, TVS Norton might look to expand to North America. But Royal Enfield and Triumph are great bikes too, in the past I had a Bonneville America and a Thunderbird Storm, I enjoyed both of those. Thank you for your kind words, they are really appreciated. Cheers.
Thanks for your feedback. I agree, that goes for 99.9% of bikes. Just curious, apart from trade in bonus was there any other discount offered/discussed? Cheers
@PapaSmurfOn2Wheels Is difficult to know as I part exchanged a Indian Scout for it . Just paid the difference. The part exchange discount was £1500 from norton .
For me dealer network and spares availability is the biggest concern when considering Norton ownership. I’m sure you’ve said TVS won’t honour older 961 bike spares for example, that’s got to impact on desirability. I was negotiating £14k for a ex demo 961 but got cold feet on it.
If that was a TVS ex demo then I think you would be covered by TVS warranty, they're a massive company so you should be good. But depends where in the country you are, there are only 12 or so dealers at the moment so you'd need to factor that in to ownership as well. Donington era 961's are a different story, there you're really relying on Motorvated to keep you on the road if anything major happens.

I bought a new one about 2 months ago Norton 961 sp in silver for £15,500
Thanks a lot for your feedback. How are you getting on, are you enjoying the bike?
Hi, Only done about 50 miles on it as the weather has been crap and dont want to get it dirty but the 50 miles i have done it was great.
The investment is probably the building you keep it in.
I bought mine in November. There was a trade in bonuse from Norton at the time.

how many were made all together will tell something
Good feedback, thanks. Not sure there will be an exact number but will see what I can find out.
Tvs commandos will keep their value better than Garners.
You could be right. They will certainly have the support of the factory, which the Donington bikes won’t have.
