Shannon I purge my craft room every 3 months. I think the issue is I rather shop for crafting supplies but then I forget what I wanted to make with them; that especially holds true with the DT wood decor! In any event your craft area is beautiful TFS ❤
I am the same way! If I don't immediately craft with the supplies I pick up, then I forget what it was I was going to make. 😂
Can you put your craft ideas in a zip lock bag with written notes or pattern of what you want to make? Store bags in a bin with labels or dates you want to make the craft.
I do this with sewing craft ideas. For bigger projects I will use a plastic shoe box and stack them on a shelf with labels.

I am in Minecraft room, watching your video while I am finishing up my first spring reef… :-) But you have inspired me to do more than just that! My craft space is a mess, I'm so stuck, the clear bins are going to make the biggest difference in my life, I just need to get it done. Spring is coming, and I've decided that I want to have my room organized, so I can have my grandkids over while I'm crafting. That's the goal. Hugs and Happy Crafting. Karen
I'll be honest, when you start, it gets worse before it gets better, but don't let it stop you! A little space at a time so you can gradually work you way through it. I'm an "all in" kind of cleaner and I've found it's hard mentally to stay motivated... I've found working, as you saw in the video, a row of shelves at a time (one drawer or bin or area at a time) works better too. Reward yourself for the successes of finishing an area! Take the before and after photos! Stay positive! You can do it!!

I took love bold but, with life getting busy in many different ways I have started really enjoying lighter shades of colors. I do not know if that makes sense. When like yesterday I had worked 12 hours at my job came home so very tired and I walked into my bedroom and saw my simple pale yellow curtains it was so soothing to me an my before bright colored curtains. Maybe that makes more sense to understand than what I first had written. I cannot recall if you listed where you purchased your canisters at I will check out your list but they are great! Not too small and not too big. I have been a big lace user for years with sewing projects and I am a big button collector of vintage and new ones. I use new ones for many Christmas crafts and I love them in large jars to run my hand in and pick them out but, your size is even better. With the little knobs on the kids you can take out one of your ribbons to tie around too if you wanted but less is more also. I really love all your crafts displayed now with the softer tone.
Shannon I have wondered many times what your DIY letters were made out of. I am amazed that they are pompoms. What a super idea!
Since before my Mom passed away I have wanted to start a decal/stationary journal in honor of my Mom mixed with things I love such as butterflies. I wanted to start it when she was sick but overcome with worry and sadness I never say down to start it. I didn't know where to begin. I have collected wrapping paper snippets and other little clippings of poems and sheet music of hymns I have copies of in our church bulletin. I soaked them in tea to make old looking. I never found a journal I liked until the other day. It's a beautiful leather bound book from the 1700s with almost all the pages missing. I took the pages out and will save and I would like to get a paper back book from the Dollar Tree to take that cover off and glue the book into my cover and make my journal entries on new paper. I am excited to hear about your Etsy store opening a I am sure you will have lovely things for my journal. I purchased Easter embellishments from Ms. Barlow while my Mom was sick. For the life of me I cannot recall her name. Her son Ray just passed away. I have a headache and I'm drawing a blank. My Mom and I always have loved Easter and bunnies .
You always look beautiful no matter what your wearing but, it's so nice to see your pretty face without your eye glasses on. I wish I could wear contacts. Yesterday I didn't sit at my desk a lot I had to rearrange huge walk in bins at work so I wasn't needing to wear my eye glasses and one of the men (I am the only female in my dept) said he never saw me without glasses on and how great I look. I was floored! I also was thinking while I was wiping down the shelves with Lysol and redoing all the parts on the shelves and taking off the ones to send back to GM I thought I wish I had this umph to get going on my apartment and organize it more. I called an organizing company but they said my place is too small they only do 3 bedrooms. If I had a 3 bedroom I wouldn't need them. I truly am overwhelmed where I sometimes cry. I am going to work shortly which is Saturday. I worked 12 hours yesterday I am very tired. I want a pretty apartment so bad and it's so small. I got rid of all my things to keep my Mom's belongings she left me. I wish I had a girl friend I could ask to come help me and I would even pay her.
My closet in my bedroom is so very tiny I do not have room for my winter suits. Looking at your shelving system today I was wondering if I could find one of yours but find one with removable shelves. Keep the drawers for silk scarves and jewerly boxes belts etc and higher up put an industrial spring rod into the book case to hang my suits on. So the window light doesn't fade when. I can find nice fabric to hook and loop to the top ledge of the bookcase. After seeing this video today I feel very inspired Shannon. I also have a 4 drawer organizer I want to put paper down in the front which adds a lot of style but I think I will print descriptions on the top of the paper I skip down such as my bottom bin has all my wood scraps from the free bin at Home Depot and my Tumbling Tower blocks from Amazon and I buy short pieces of molding to make my own photo frames using my miter box. Wow I am excited after seeing this video.
Sorry for the novel. The Etsy commercial that played during the video excited me too. It said Dreamers make their own victories. I want to print that up and frame it and today I will take yellow paper to work to put in the printer. I want to hang that near my sewing machine.
