Your channel is my FAVORITE in the whole UA-cam world!!!! I love it when we get a new video. I also love it that you don’t put one out everyday or every week. If you did I would get nothing accomplished other than watching your videos. 😅❤❤❤
Girl, I have been looking for a new vid from you. I swear I've watched every one of your videos a dozen times each. I'm working the 1851 shawl at the moment. I am just hooked on you. Pun intended 😊
@charlenebennett4188 you may find this crazy for me to ask, but, tell me all about it. What yarns did you use the hooks. Who were they for. I guess it's a crocheter thing. 😆
@LennyLefebvre-qb6qx it has been so easy to do. I had to put it down for a bit while I do Christmas stuff. But I'm using the same yarn that Corinne used only I couldn't find the orange and pink so I'm using rust and cream. I'll send Corinne a picture of it when I'm finished. Right now I'm working on some 60s and 70s items for my granddaughters. I know I liked them when my grandma made them for me, so I thought my babies would like them too. 😆
I seem to have a memory of Great-Great-Grandma Dozier cutting her threads at the end of each row and starting anew at the beginning when working her thread crochet items. But I was a very wee tot at that time, and I could certainly be wrong. I was always at her knee watching her crochet, knit, and tat. She helped me learn all my embroidery and needlework, and I've done some form of fiber art mt entire life. Tackling these vintage and antique patterns from so many eras seems like a true challenge! Much respect.
Everytime I watch your videos I think to myself she is a professional crocheter and probably should put out some books or teach classes. I'm always impressed!
It was lots of fun crocheting along with you. I wasn't doing this pattern this time but trying to complete something I already started. Your mystery pattern turned out terrifically and you made the best calls you could for the corners. Awesome and inspiring as always!
Not a crocheted but I could be. When I can think like you counting backwards. LOL. I recommended you to another lady yesterday. You are so much fun to watch.
You did a very good job with this pattern and the instructions your were given. I find these type of old patterns always a challenge. I commend you for sticking to it!.
I love this! You are my favorite channel and I have made a 1865 shawl and 1940s blanket and a 80s pullover for my family all from your channel! We love all things vintage!
I love watching your videos and I appreciate all the time you put into them. I agree with one comment that said you are a ray of sunshine 🌞 Mystery patterns and your own interpretation makes your finished work a piece of art!
Vintage crochet IS exciting! Plus I have learned so much watching your videos, both from you as a person and also I feel like looking at and reading through these old patterns gives a lot of perspective for crochet in general. I love this particular pattern. If I have time I might make this for my mother in law for her birthday, and I'll make it out of some of my hand dyed thread 🖤
Because you majority crochet, you should try the European style of holding the wool when you are knitting then you don’t have to stop and swing the wool around. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ love all your videos so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ooh lovely I've been looking forward to another video extra bonus the hooks & needles unboxing and those lovely autumn nails ❤. I rather prefer your corners to the original.
I was super happy to see this video! I am glad your boys are doing well, my heart broke when I saw the couple of videos about the incident. I love to watch your videos!❤❤❤ Thank you for these, it keeps my grandma's memory alive seeing the thread crochet done. I try to do it but my carpel tunnel hates it.
Oh my, why am I so in LOVE with that nail polish? (The red reflective one) But I'm way too lazy to do mine to begin with so I'll just have to admire from afar. Edit: just now realizing these are most likely press ons 😅
😊👍 I like your interpretation of this mystery pattern! P.s. It's funny how english word meanings/uses differ between english-speaking countries and over time. 😅
Great work! I love the way yours turned out. Also, not that it really matters, I believe toilette is pronounced twah-let. I've heard it pronounced that way before and it helps me differentiate it from a regular toilet in my head.😊
You did a beautiful job! Your patience is amazing. PS Will you be giving us another mini mystery pattern to try out ourselves, like you did last year? I did an awful job but it was fun!
Hello, you knit like mei can do 3/4 stich with the harmonie in my finger but its the more I can. I m à table /bed/car crochet 😂. Your vidéo are also a good part of my night.
To b honest I like your corners than theirs , yours looks daintier , makes the whole thing prettier , it's like a picture frame around it , that was a lot of work omg !! Thank You for another great video 📸 !! You did amazing !! As usual !! Btw do u get paid for commercials ?? Cuz I am sorry there was a lot and I skipped them :( but if you do then I won't skip in future , sorry to ask
Love seeing the monthly. boxes. But I am curious, since you crochet so much, you must be comfortable with the yarn being on your left hand. Why did you have the yarn on your right hand when you showed knitting the knit sample? Was it because a lot of people generally keep the yarn on their right hand when they knit and thus didn't knit with the yarn on your left hand? Or have you not had the opportunity to see or hear of the "pick method" of knitting where the yarn is held on the left hand? Both methods work very well. But I personally think the pick method of knitting is faster. Love you videos. Really admired your nails that changed color from black to burnished reddish-gold over the plain gold ones. Really love your verbal detective thinking in deciphering the instructions that really tend to assume you would automatically know what was common knowledge methods of the times.
I think the "case" is a satin case for stuffing and this goes on top and bottom. You could also put lavender in there to keep moths out of your boudoir! 😂
Your channel is my FAVORITE in the whole UA-cam world!!!! I love it when we get a new video. I also love it that you don’t put one out everyday or every week. If you did I would get nothing accomplished other than watching your videos. 😅❤❤❤
Oh wow, thank you so much! That means a lot to me!
Oh I totally agree… I’m the same❤
Girl, I have been looking for a new vid from you. I swear I've watched every one of your videos a dozen times each. I'm working the 1851 shawl at the moment. I am just hooked on you. Pun intended 😊
I've made two of those! I love it and want to make a third!
@charlenebennett4188 you may find this crazy for me to ask, but, tell me all about it. What yarns did you use the hooks. Who were they for. I guess it's a crocheter thing. 😆
That one is so gorgeous!!! I have been dying to make it. It will be the first thing from Just Vintage Crochet that I will make.
@LennyLefebvre-qb6qx it has been so easy to do. I had to put it down for a bit while I do Christmas stuff. So, the big space is your maker's mark. I love the rendition you created. We are supposed too make these things unique. Well done!!
I really appreciate all the vintage patterns and mystery patterns you put on here
I like your interpretation better than the picture ❤ Turned out great 👍
Missed your vids. Happy you put out a new one Hope family is well. ❤❤❤

Well done, Corrina!
It was lots of fun crocheting along with you. I wasn't doing this pattern this time but trying to complete something I already started. Your mystery pattern turned out terrifically and you made the best calls you could for the corners. Awesome and inspiring as always!
You are a ray of sunshine Corinna, thank you for giving us this fun! I love your videos. I have so many I want to try, but not enough time! 😂 ❤❤
Your version looks so much better than the one in the picture!
Not a crocheted but I could be. When I can think like you counting backwards. LOL. I recommended you to another lady yesterday. You are so much fun to watch.
I enjoy watching you make these mystery projects. This one is definitely a win.
Yay!!!! I always watch your old videos while waiting for a new post! I am obsessed with your channel😂❤
Watching your videos as a new crocheter is so helpful in understanding how to read patterns, and I always love your commentary and interpretations!
I agree with the other's, I like your version the best. Your corners are more "organized" looking and mitred like a frame. Great job! ❤❤❤
Your reading of the pattern created a quiet, elegant version versus the "fancier" picture of the completed pattern. Both are quite nice.
Yes, indeed, you did doggone good! 😀 I actually prefer the way you've done it, Corinna. 👌
lol. your videos are always worth a like and a comment!
i love crochet. and the vintage patterns are the best of crochet patterns
You did a very good job with this pattern and the instructions your were given. I find these type of old patterns always a challenge. I commend you for sticking to it!.
you are super self-confident, I would never dare to make it in public, thank you for your wonderful channel 💕
I love this! You are my favorite channel and I have made a 1865 shawl and 1940s blanket and a 80s pullover for my family all from your channel! We love all things vintage!

Thank you so much! That means a lot to me!
I like your corners better than the one in the picture❤❤❤
I love talking to you while you try to figure patterns out. 😅 Just like I talk to the announcers on tv.😁
I just love your channel it is so fun to watch your pattern come alive.
Like indeed!! So fun!!
I am amazed you are able to use those tiny hooks and thin thread. It’s beautiful. Wow!
I was waiting for a video from you too lovely sweetheart. You did a great job 🥰
Beautiful work! I love that yours came out different. That’s how new patterns are made! 🦋
I love your channel and I think it’s great that you got the reverse stiches right👋
It looks real nice. Thank you! I've been waiting and checking for you everyday. I hope all is well with you and your family.🙂🌹👍🏻
Because you majority crochet, you should try the European style of holding the wool when you are knitting then you don’t have to stop and swing the wool around. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ love all your videos so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love it. Yours is prettier.
Looks great! It would drive me nuts crocheting so tiny
Awesome! You amaze me!❤😊
You did a great job.
You are so very talented. I would not work on antique patterns without some sort of diagram to help.
I love your nails!
Nice job. I like yours better than the picture (except for the big hole, but I think you can fix it with an extra stitch).
I think you did pretty dog gone good. It amazes me how you figure out the old patterns.
You did really well! That was a complicated pattern, and they're not always right anyway. But, that is a really pretty doily.
I like your version better. :) Hope things are smoothing out in the JVC world. Sending our love!
Thank you! 🙏
I like your version of it better
Oh my, why am I so in LOVE with that nail polish? (The red reflective one)
But I'm way too lazy to do mine to begin with so I'll just have to admire from afar.
Edit: just now realizing these are most likely press ons 😅
Usualla there is a link in the discription where to get them.
You did an awesome job on this. You can use this as a doiley.

🎉
😊👍 I like your interpretation of this mystery pattern! P.s. It's funny how english word meanings/uses differ between english-speaking countries and over time. 😅
You indeed deserve a like!! xo
Great work! I love the way yours turned out. Also, not that it really matters, I believe toilette is pronounced twah-let. I've heard it pronounced that way before and it helps me differentiate it from a regular toilet in my head.😊
Thank you , I pronounced it both way in the video lol
@justvintagecrochet whoops. Haha. I guess I need to put on my listening ears. 🙈🙉
I like your version better, your corners make more sense to me.
Oh no, I am actually talking to my screen as if you could hear me!😂
To b honest I like your corners than theirs , yours looks daintier , makes the whole thing prettier , it's like a picture frame around it , that was a lot of work omg !! No worries on skipping them, there are a lot and I would skip too LOL , skip all you want :)
You can’t hear me?!! Lol these are so fun to watch 😂

I love the hooks and needles boxes, they look great, but they don't send to New Zealand, so I just look longingly.
Oh bummer, I hope they add New Zealand to their shipping locations soon!
Wow
❤ I do believe i love yours more ma'am.❤😊
I hope you son is doing okay. I missed watching your videos.
