Goku XV Legend yeah Sony Animation is better than illumination entertainment since they can make a very good entertaining films and underrated ones (but I still like illumination entertainment even if they struggle to find the good story telling in their films)
Yeah I totally get you man. At least with Despicable Me movies & The Lorax they are Okay n' Decent to watch in terms of Story Writing and a Bit of Spice to some Characters Designs as for the others not so much in my opinion. I saw a character design of the Grinch as their next movie yet he doesn't look like himself.
Goku XV Legend well I think they going to make it faithful to the book but with some little differences (I still love the Jim Carey one and the tv special) (we might wait until the trailer of the film like on next month or the following month)
But Superman is great, not every character has to bee morally ambiguous to be interesting and having a character who is always trting to do the right thing is not a badly written character. The whole point is that despite his powers he ISN'T a God and can't save everyone. That's the whole point behind the two missiles thing in the first Superman film or the scene where he is forced to kill Zod in Man of Steel.
And another shitty thing about illumination is that the animators seem to think that kids will only like a movie if there’s bathroom jokes in it. I am so sick of this companies ass jokes in all their movies. It’s very rare to see a bathroom joke in a Dreamworks, Disney or Pixar movie because they actually get what kids truly like.
Yoko Yakamori the bad ones are Hop and The Lorax, the average ones are Minions, The Secret Life of Pets and Sing while the good ones are Despicable Me 1,2 and 3 (in my opinion.)
Mikołaj Szcześniak the only serviceable movie they made is the first dispicable me everything else is either bad like dispicable me 2 or fucking awful like minions.
Their animation style isn't a stylistic choice. It's because they're lazy. They're movies are actually really cheap to make when compared to Pixar. They don't care if they're movies look good and they stick to that simplistic animation not only because it's cheaper but it makes the characters cuter. If I draw a simple simile face it's adorable. But if I start adding detail to the face it starts to become less cute. Eventually it looks completely scary.
I'm surprised you didn't talk about Illumination's Super Mario movie that's in the works. It went all over the internet last month but somehow you missed it :/
Ultratomic hahaha! How funny thing! I mean, Illumination... ILLUMINATION!! Why didn't they choose DreamWorks, Sony Pictures (no, wait, that is worse), Blue Sky, Laika, Ghibli Studios or Pixar!? The fucking hell Nintendo!? Why!?
Last Hope For Humanity - It's actually Illumantion Fan-Project that nintendo doesn't know anything about. And When the Movie finally comes-out Nintendo will take it down faster then the speed of light.
Charles Martinet voices the Mario Bros. so much better than Jen Taylor/Nicole Mills/Samantha Kelly voices Princess Peach/Toad and how Deanna Mustard/Jen Taylor voices Princess Daisy.
@@DCNRS90YT I think that the Mario movie should either get a new cast including Chris Pratt as Mario because I think hearing Charles Martinet for 90 minutes ( No offense ) might get annoying after awhile because Illumination might make it super loud and Obnoxious, or it should be like Wall-e with very little dialogue.
Just because Superman is a "goody two shoes" it doesn't mean that he is a boring character. Superman is a man who's philosophy on life is always challenged by his villains, but he keeps going because like he says "there is always a way." and that philosophy helps people to be better. in this time where we celebrate anti-heros and villains, characters like Superman are what we should look up to. it's not that hard to find some great Superman stories, All-Star Superman and What's So Funny About Truth Justice & The American Way are the first things that come to my mind, these stories show Superman at his best. also don't watch the movies they suck.
The first 2 Christopher Reeve Superman movies were pretty damn good I think, especially the first one. But I agree the other ones range from meh to god awful.
ChangelingTale the commenter When you talk bullshit, you _should_ expect someone to call you out on it. Tom's philosophy of only looking at Superman in a handful of films and ignoring the _vast_ body of work involving the character, is extraordinarily short-sighted. He can use a mocking voice to poke fun at comics readers who can point out the issue and page number where Superman did something 'naughty', but in doing that he cuts himself off from the medium that has had lots of time to explore who Superman is, and cuts himself off from readers who can point out the arcs and stories that do this very well. Shahar Elia pointed out good examples. All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison is just £13.29 away on Kindle right now, where I'm sitting. Might be cheaper elsewhere. I'll add some of Alan Moore's work: like 'Whatever Happened To The Man Of Tomorrow?' or 'For The Man Who Has Everything'. TL; DR: someone who knows nothing about a thing shouldn't pass final judgement on that thing.
Honestly it does get annoying seeing then use the minions as a cash grab but I can understand it from a business standpoint. Thanks for the great content my dood!
Tom I know you mostly make docu stuff now, but I'd be interested in seeing you create a follow-up to this video once the Mario film releases in April. I'd like to know if your opinions have changed with any of their recent films. Could be a nice in-between video from the retrospectives.
I get you man. I fucking hate Illumination for what they did to animation. When the mainstream audience thinks of animation now they won't think of animated masterpieces like Princess Mononoke or Nauscäa of the Valley of the wind, movies with genuinely profound stories, who play to the strength of their medium perfectly with some of the best animation I've ever seen. No instead when people think "animation" they think yellow pieces of shit that scream and say banana. This is probably why my mom says she hates animation - she's only ever seen this shit and the Simpsons
I like how you argue against people who like Superman by calling them nerds and mocking them with a stupid voice. Instead of, yanno, using reason. (Seriously though, do you get the irony of a guy with a youtube channel about cartoons, calling comics readers 'nerds'?) Superman's schtick isn't that he's invincible, Superman's schtick is what he does with his invincibility. He's like Captain America: he represents ideals of goodness and justice. He's not just about being a superpowered rescue service or punching evil aliens: he's an example, an inspiration and a hope to those around him, and hopefully, to a few people out in the real world. And he has a responsibility to live up to those ideals; otherwise, with his power, what would he become? (Come on, guy. You seem to like the Bruce Timm DCAU. You don't remember things like the Justice Lords or the World of Cardboard speech?) Also, if you're going to criticise Superman, you might want to have read something in the medium that he was created for and featured in and explored in for _eighty years._ If you think Superman was a 'goody two shoes' in Man of Steel, let alone that Man of Steel was some kind of definitive version of Superman, you're living under a rock. A big reason that film stank is is the people hated how everything was so off-key. Jonathan Kent told his adopted son to hide his powers and not help anyone. The people hated and feared Superman. Not entirely surprising when you realise he went around with a scowl all the time, behaved in a petty fashion (destroying a guy's truck) and kicked off his superheroic career with threats and menaces. It seemed that Superman's big dilemma in the film wasn't whether he might become some kind of despot or monster while trying to help people, but whether he should bother his ass helping anyone at all. Snyder seemed like he was trying to remake Watchmen again. He didn't get that Superman isn't about grimdarkness and despair. You don't seem to get it either.
No, they quite literally attempt to find someone to tell them what to do, and leave if that individual does not hold to their standards. That isn't slavery, that's quid pro quo; they give something (their support) and get something they want (instructions, a place to belong, etc.) in return.

Turkey Tom While I don't agree with Secret Life Of Pets being a rip off of Toy Story, I agree that every film is horrible, I mainly prefer Klasky Csupo over that God awful company
I understand if the graphics/animation look cheaper for the first film, because, well its their first film and they are on a budget. But I would expect the rest of their films to get better in quality and look more refined. Like Pixar. Toy story. The humans looked like monsters and it wasn’t ten smoothest animation. But they learned, got better, and it was the first ever full length picture movie made mostly with computers. But then look at their other films. Getting smoother and prettier. Then look at toy story 2&3, they are in a similar style, but move better, have better rendering and are so much better to look at. That’s just my opinion though.
Finally! I REALLY can't stand this animation company... Thank you Tom. Only thing I disagreed with you on was you thoughts on Superman. But that s just me. ☺
God I hate illumination. Every movie that they make feels like a corporate piece of shit. they’re unfunny and bland. They’re trying way too hard to be “funny” and “hip” with the kids.
i agree 100% with everything you mention in this video, and i haven’t even finished it. as an aspiring animator, i find illumination absolutely insulting. they stand for everything that animated films aren’t supposed to. i literally hate them so much that i was able to make a half hour long essay simply on why their adaptation of the lorax was one of the worst things i had ever seen, and i feel that way about every single one of their films except the first despicable me. i feel like that one is the most distinct because it was actually someone’s idea that had been in the works for a while and brought to a studio- and in my opinion, after he left they tried way too hard to emulate him and milk the parts that were popular (*cough* minions *cough*) just so they could make as much money as possible without putting in effort, going from mediocre to abysmal in the blink of an eye.
Despicable Me - Good Hop - Bad The Lorax - Mediocre Despicable Me 2 - Meh Minions - Bad Secret Life of Pets - Forgettable Sing - Boring Despicable Me 3 - Okay
As generic there movies are, Illumination is achieving a level of commercial success that seemed unthinkable. So far, Minions and Despicable Me 3 are the only non Disney/Pixar animated films to cross the Billion dollar mark.
I have to disagree with you. The commercial success of their movies demonstrate that Brad Bird was wrong when he said that animation is an art form. Illumination treats animation simply as a genre.
With Boss Baby just recently receiving an academy award nomination, it is safe to say that Brad Bird had no idea what he was talking about when he said that animation is an art form, not a genre.
I agree with you..once they shit out one of there movies..and it becomes popular, they then shit out any merchandise or sequel or prequel and don't even take time to think of a good plot or anything..and Minions are a side character and should not be the main focus of the movies..all in all your video explains well and i watched your videos from when you were just practically starting and i realized how much you really improved on your videos, good job and well done on that!
I have a feeling the Despicable Me franchise is gonna go the same way as the Shrek franchise: being merely a joke to the Internet. If anything, it's already kind of begun.
Max, Duke, Snowball, Norman, Gidget, Mel, Buddy, Katie, Chuck, Liam, Sergei, Little Sergei, Security Guard #1, Security Guard #2, Dogwalker, Tiny, Pickles, Princess, Pops and Sweetpea. I can’t believe I have really good memorization for movies that people forget, but not in school
What really annoys me is that you can tell there are funny, creative people in there somewhere. The beginning of despicable me shows the antagonists lair with the pyramid he just stole painted blue to look like the sky, and it's such a silly, dumb but hilarious moment made better by the fact my grandmother couldn't see it. If the entire film was more of that (silly jokes but with actual, real punchlines) it would have been amazing.
Jesus, this video must’ve taken effort. Having to watch these shitty movies, having to edit, and having to record the script. You deserve a lot more subs.
Character design isn’t just what makes one interesting, personality does too. Studio Ghibi is very apparent for this, while the characters are just humans their personalities shine. And no this still doesn’t count for illumination because their writing is terrible.
Just wanna say one thing: I loved this video! I have to agree: The Minions is a living, breathing money maker and Illumination itself is a pretty mediocre company with a soul goal of making monetary profit, however in my opinion, I feel like Hop is at least a pretty good movie that had potential, though ruined by it's message of 'Don't bother changing your situation because at the end, you're fucked.' while others are a 'Meh' to say the least(don't get me started on Minions.) However, you need to give them credit for actually making money off of doing this, instead of ending up in bargain bins. Though, my only complaint is that you might some-what misunderstood the message in the Lorax movie. At the end of the movie, when Ted finally grabs the last seed from the Onceler, and convinces people to plant it, the message was clearly about protecting the environment rather than using technology and harming the enviroment, stopping pollution, ect. Other than that, really well edited, providing evidence, and proving some points. You've earned my sub, and I hope to see you at 50k in the future!
You’re a completely underrated UA-camr in my opinion. I’m too lazy to subscribe to really anyone but I’m definitely gonna keep your channel as something I’ll watch. Also joined the discord c:, keep up the work man
How do people dislike a video without evenin watching at least half the video and its cool you're not stepping to Keem and Kavos level, you're way better than them👍
This is pretty good and I like how you point out the actual problems instead of only focussing on the minions for all of your points. You have earned a subscriber :)
So just because the 2018 Grinch doesn't look like he did in the old versions, you're saying they stripped away anything that made him "cool unique, and scary"? His design isn't the best, but I feel people should wait until the movie is out (or at least until a trailer is out) before they say Illumination ruined the Grinch's character.
And have you observed the cliches the studio both pioneered and watered down from Dreamworks, and how every other company is copying them? All of these trashy, completely non-sincere, and yet not sarcastic and irreverent enough to be truly entertaining, overly cartoony, garish animated movies that flood cinemas.
13:51 is the exact microphone I have, lmao. Good video dude, your points were amazing! Keep it up man, also don't listen to those scumbags that say you're a IHE copy. (People think the definition of inspiriation means plagarism now)
Good video! I'm pretty disappointed that Illumination could make the new Mario animated movie... I wish Disney or Pixar would do it instead. Wait, what did Grade A Under A do?
Excellent video. I also love how you acknowledged other UA-camrs plus that joke at the end was hilarious and wasn’t too jarring due to it being at the end. However I was hoping for you to go more depth about more areas like the animation, character dynamic, and settings. Like how a majority of these films are set in a city or suburb. However through thoroughly explaining the uninspired forgettable characters, fun animations, and the overall quality makes you a UA-camr that is under appreciated and should be way more respected and known (also I found my earlier problem fixed a lot). I can’t wait for your upcoming videos.
What gets me is that more often than not anthropomorphic animals tend to be more recognizable and memorable in terms of character design because there’s more opportunity to exaggerate and add features to the characters. Yet the animals from Secret Life if Pets are more discrinct and stylized than those in Sing.
I haven't watched a single Illumination Animation film that I found more than mediocre, and the only one I would even call mediocre is The Secret Life of Pets. It wasn't terrible, just really boring and obnoxious with a really predictable plot.
Maybe once Emperor Joker gets a adaptation, Superman will have a interesting film where he's treated as a everyman figure rather than a god-figure. IT's a good book.
Eh, the entire "Oh my god, people have made erotica of this." Asides are pretty boring and cringy. It's basically just a weird effect of popularity, that like .... doesn't actually say anything, particularly about the work itself.

the first despicable me film wasn't TERRIBLE but it still wasn't even close to being great and that was the best thing they ever touched
Thank you~!
Ironbay Knight G no
They keep using minions as a cash grab
I got an ad for Tic-Tacs while watching this.
I think Ilumination entertainment makes bad, average and decent movies Imao.
So which movies are what?
Yoko Yakamori the bad ones are Hop and The Lorax, the average ones are Minions, The Secret Life of Pets and Sing while the good ones are Despicable Me 1,2 and 3 (in my opinion.)
For me the only good illuminetion movie is Despicable Me 1.
Mikołaj Szcześniak the only serviceable movie they made is the first dispicable me everything else is either bad like dispicable me 2 or fucking awful like minions.
yeah
Their animation style isn't a stylistic choice. It's because they're lazy. They're movies are actually really cheap to make when compared to Pixar. They don't care if they're movies look good and they stick to that simplistic animation not only because it's cheaper but it makes the characters cuter. If I draw a simple simile face it's adorable. But if I start adding detail to the face it starts to become less cute. Eventually it looks completely scary.
They're also gonna ruin Mario :)
God I hope not
You know what worsened Mario as well???? Princess Peach for her clones, being a girly stereotype and being dainty.
I hope not either. And I had hope for the new Mario movie to be good. I'm probably going to be wrong.
Mario has been ruined in film before. He'll survive.
Don't pray that
Nintendo has agreed with Illumination to make a Super Mario Bros movie!
Let's hope that the Minions don't make an appearance!
I'm surprised you didn't talk about Illumination's Super Mario movie that's in the works. It went all over the internet last month but somehow you missed it :/
WHAT?! No! No!! Not mario!
The Plains Jam
Let’s just hope Miyamoto is being picky at the right time for once.
Another Terrible Mario Movie? Wait! World can't stand TWO of these!
Let's hope that this will be the last movie of Illumination.
Illumination is like the kid in a class that aims for a 60 in the class, so that he has to do the least amount of work and still barely pass
4 years later and this comment is still underrated
It doesn't help when Illumination is making a Mario movie, and if they're going to make it, then please have Charles Martinet be in it.
Charles Martinet voices the Mario Bros. so much better than Jen Taylor/Nicole Mills/Samantha Kelly voices Princess Peach/Toad and how Deanna Mustard/Jen Taylor voices Princess Daisy.
If this Mario movie is terrible, then I'll give up on video game movies...except ones like Wreck-It-Ralph, that one was pretty good. ^^
supersmilyface1 SSF1
Wreck It Ralph doesn't count, because the game never existed for Atari.
I hope the new Mario movie will be good, if not. Then I have zero hope in videogame based movies. Except ones that are original.
But Superman doesn't have a bat credit card :
The first 2 Christopher Reeve Superman movies were pretty damn good I think, especially the first one. But I agree the other ones range from meh to god awful.
shahar eilia he was expecting something like this.
Warren JB
Tom's also expecting a comment like this.
Honestly it does get annoying seeing then use the minions as a cash grab but I can understand it from a business standpoint. Thanks for the great content my dood!
they are the reason why we don't see any side characters again.
@@pedrosaabedra5653 Yeah, you're definitely not wrong about that.
OMG! The new Grinch looks so cute!!!
He should not look cute! The Grinch should be a hideous scary monster, not a minion!?!
I’ve been forced to watch the secret life of pets four times and I still don’t know any of the pets names
Victoria Eats Children my younger brother replayed the movie for about a week or two and i still dont know any of the character names
Tom I know you mostly make docu stuff now, but I'd be interested in seeing you create a follow-up to this video once the Mario film releases in April. I'd like to know if your opinions have changed with any of their recent films. Could be a nice in-between video from the retrospectives.
I fear that the new grinch would be the next onceler
Trixie Rubberhose NOPE NOPE NOPE SO MUCH NOPE!
This is probably why my mom says she hates animation - she's only ever seen this shit and the Simpsons
what season(s) of the simpsons did she watch?
I like how you argue against people who like Superman by calling them nerds and mocking them with a stupid voice.
Instead of, yanno, using reason.
(Seriously though, do you get the irony of a guy with a youtube channel about cartoons, calling comics readers 'nerds'?)
Superman's schtick isn't that he's invincible, Superman's schtick is what he does with his invincibility.
You don't remember things like the Justice Lords or the World of Cardboard speech?)
Also, if you're going to criticise Superman, you might want to have read something in the medium that he was created for and featured in and explored in for _eighty years._ If you think Superman was a 'goody two shoes' in Man of Steel, let alone that Man of Steel was some kind of definitive version of Superman, you're living under a rock.
I wholeheartedly disagree with what you said about Superman. Other than that, good video.
So are the minions slaves, or...?
Your An Moron they can be
No, they quite literally attempt to find someone to tell them what to do, and leave if that individual does not hold to their standards. That isn't slavery, that's quid pro quo; they give something (their support) and get something they want (instructions, a place to belong, etc.) in return.
Thanks for the info.
Criminal slaves
@@TurkeyTom Hey Turkey Tom Illumination is not the worst company ever and how dare you you should have put a disclaimer saying this will be in your opinion watch this video of Animat and why he loves Illumination it even shows your video in it ua-cam.com/video/96CAl08ZSFM/v-deo.html so there are people who love this company stop criticizing stuff people love and this video should have gotten 0 views for you criticizing a company that most people love and people that work there and work hard on these movies this video is the reason why Illumination fans hate you Turkey Tom
Turkey Tom While I don't agree with Secret Life Of Pets being a rip off of Toy Story, I agree that every film is horrible, I mainly prefer Klasky Csupo over that God awful company
Daniel. D. Roberts yeah, having a similar premise doesn’t make something a rip off
I understand if the graphics/animation look cheaper for the first film, because, well its their first film and they are on a budget.
I thought illumination was bad.... but then I saw The Emoji Movie
Ilumination's staff have a brain? i didn't even know they had one, i though they ran off of minions.
Illumination studios have the most terrible character’s designs and have cringy movies.
⬆️ = 🤓
Finally! I REALLY can't stand this animation company... Thank you Tom.
Only thing I disagreed with you on was you thoughts on Superman. But that s just me. ☺
Rabbids were here first before minions
2006 = 2010
So the Minions DID copy off the Rabbids!!!
Kieran Stark the rabbids were here first in 2006 so yeah(?)
God I hate illumination. Every movie that they make feels like a corporate piece of shit. they’re unfunny and bland. They’re trying way too hard to be “funny” and “hip” with the kids.
And nothing has really changed since...
Minions make me want to scrape my face against a jagged broken mirror
Well said
i agree 100% with everything you mention in this video, and i haven’t even finished it. as an aspiring animator, i find illumination absolutely insulting. they stand for everything that animated films aren’t supposed to. i literally hate them so much that i was able to make a half hour long essay simply on why their adaptation of the lorax was one of the worst things i had ever seen, and i feel that way about every single one of their films except the first despicable me. i feel like that one is the most distinct because it was actually someone’s idea that had been in the works for a while and brought to a studio- and in my opinion, after he left they tried way too hard to emulate him and milk the parts that were popular (*cough* minions *cough*) just so they could make as much money as possible without putting in effort, going from mediocre to abysmal in the blink of an eye.
This should be a topic I'll be interested in. I've always disliked Illuminaton along with Sony Pictures.
Despicable Me - Good
Hop - Bad
The Lorax - Mediocre
Despicable Me 2 - Meh
Minions - Bad
Secret Life of Pets - Forgettable
Sing - Boring
Despicable Me 3 - Okay
As generic there movies are, Illumination is achieving a level of commercial success that seemed unthinkable. So far, Minions and Despicable Me 3 are the only non Disney/Pixar animated films to cross the Billion dollar mark.
That means God has failed us
I have to disagree with you. The commercial success of their movies demonstrate that Brad Bird was wrong when he said that animation is an art form. Illumination treats animation simply as a genre.
I know and for me that’s a bad thing
With Boss Baby just recently receiving an academy award nomination, it is safe to say that Brad Bird had no idea what he was talking about when he said that animation is an art form, not a genre.
I agree with you..once they shit out one of there movies..and it becomes popular, they then shit out any merchandise or sequel or prequel and don't even take time to think of a good plot or anything..and Minions are a side character and should not be the main focus of the movies..all in all your video explains well and i watched your videos from when you were just practically starting and i realized how much you really improved on your videos, good job and well done on that!
Long video but it was amazing all the way through. Great criticisms, great video :)
I have a feeling the Despicable Me franchise is gonna go the same way as the Shrek franchise: being merely a joke to the Internet. If anything, it's already kind of begun.
I've also seen the Secret Life of Pets twice.
What are their names again? (I'm dead serious)
Edit: I remember Gidget. Nevermind.
cringe master nice pfp you are a man of culture
Um one guy is named max
Max, Duke, Snowball, Norman, Gidget, Mel, Buddy, Katie, Chuck, Liam, Sergei, Little Sergei, Security Guard #1, Security Guard #2, Dogwalker, Tiny, Pickles, Princess, Pops and Sweetpea. I can’t believe I have really good memorization for movies that people forget, but not in school
YES! Finally, I hate the minions.
You question rule34...
you pay the price.
LV kink shaming is fun!

Hop was the only reason that I started playing the drums. It could have been John Bonham or something, but no, fucking hop. Kill me.
Why is your name "Turkey Tom" and you're not a turkey?
#Keemstar
top 10 questions science still can't answer
HazeyModern this is cultural appropriation
Because his name is Turkey and he is a Tom
God I love your videos,
Specially the roasting of an animation company- mmhh
Keep up the great work Tom ^^
You’re a completely underrated UA-camr in my opinion. I’m too lazy to subscribe to really anyone but I’m definitely gonna keep your channel as something I’ll watch. Also joined the discord c:, keep up the work man

Honestly Gru is the only okay-ish character illumination has made
But he is still irritating and not funny

every 60 seconds in africa, a minute passes.
Nice video, it took a lot of the points IHE stated back in his trying to watch series for the illumination films in an organized manner.
I remember in 4th grade we got to vote which movie we got to see. I voted for httyd 2, but minions somehow won. I was so sad.
Ratatoing is the best movie of all time.
How do people dislike a video without evenin watching at least half the video and its cool you're not stepping to Keem and Kavos level, you're way better than them👍
TZGamer42 it's shit that's why .
:(
This is pretty good and I like how you point out the actual problems instead of only focussing on the minions for all of your points. You have earned a subscriber :)
Illumination doesn't bother me. I like Minions and The Secret Life of pets.
Minions have become a main focus on soccer mom comedy and it’s unfunny.
Did you use your eyes to actually look at that character model? It's fucking horrendous.
You have a pretty good point; but this is Illumination. They will ruin the Grinch and we all know that...
And have you observed the cliches the studio both pioneered and watered down from Dreamworks, and how every other company is copying them? All of these trashy, completely non-sincere, and yet not sarcastic and irreverent enough to be truly entertaining, overly cartoony, garish animated movies that flood cinemas.
trailers out and its still horrendous
I think they could of made the young Grinch look less like gene from the goddamn emoji movie.
13:51 is the exact microphone I have, lmao. Good video dude, your points were amazing! Keep it up man, also don't listen to those scumbags that say you're a IHE copy. (People think the definition of inspiriation means plagarism now)
*ILLUMINATION*
*ILLUMINATIO*
*ILLUMINATI*
*ILLUMINATI* *CONFIRMED*
Well Sh@# Illumination is making a Mario movie..................😞
Original novel by Dr Seuss? Can you really call a 45 page picture book a novel?
ajzeg01 its a children’s Christmas book
Good video! I'm pretty disappointed that Illumination could make the new Mario animated movie... I wish Disney or Pixar would do it instead.
Wait, what did Grade A Under A do?
You are so fucking talented dude
turkey toms character drawing is iconic
I like Illumination Entertainment, but I respect your opinion.
Best thing ever is when turkey tom makes a long video
What gets me is that more often than not anthropomorphic animals tend to be more recognizable and memorable in terms of character design because there’s more opportunity to exaggerate and add features to the characters. Yet the animals from Secret Life if Pets are more discrinct and stylized than those in Sing.
I always thought the minions were annoying but then ALL OF THE FREAKIN AD WERE ABOUT THE FREAKIN MINIONS AND NOT ABOUT THE MOVIE ITSELF
Yeah. I like this company in my opinion, but I have to give credit the plots are a bit weak unlike other animation studios and I hate Minions and Hop.
glad you can see both sides of the argument
So, Illumination is making the Mario Movie
H E L P
Yes they are hope , they wont mess out our childhood/best games. Lets say if they did mess it up we F them up
I haven't watched a single Illumination Animation film that I found more than mediocre, and the only one I would even call mediocre is The Secret Life of Pets. It wasn't terrible, just really boring and obnoxious with a really predictable plot.
"I wonder where they got that yellow skin idea from..."
making an asian joke would be too easy at this point
Maybe once Emperor Joker gets a adaptation, Superman will have a interesting film where he's treated as a everyman figure rather than a god-figure. IT's a good book.
Eh, the entire "Oh my god, people have made erotica of this." Asides are pretty boring and cringy. It's basically just a weird effect of popularity, that like .... doesn't actually say anything, particularly about the work itself.
ikr? it's just that there will always be weird ppl with fetishes and kink. like, i love bandage babes. and scars in general are sexy to me.
Rule 34 of the internet, if something exists, there's porn about it.
I got a minions commercial in the middle of this video
I really loved sing but because it's from that company I feel like people will think I'm stupid for that
damn your production quality has skyrocketed
