@@helmetculturefor me it really took a while to get better at oval racing. And I watched the replay every time and thought about how to avoid it.
Lift for wrecks unlike OC and you’ll be okay.
Tracks like Daytona, Talladega, and new Atlanta are super speedways and are drafting tracks that are really close together. Tracks like Charlotte and Iowa can have really hard clean racing that can go on for 30-50 laps.
I was yelling "don't do it" when I saw you to start to drive back up on the track after being on the apron.

Just something I'll say, if you wanted to start with a good challenge and learn how tricky Oval Racing can be as a starter, look into the Street Stocks Series. I think it be fun to see you try getting the wear and tare of the tires and hard short track racing that comes with it.

The new immersive setup will be killer, can't wait for the videos with that one. As for oval racing, I personally got bored of it pretty fast, but it was fun crashes and all 🤣

As someone who does a lot of oval racing I do have to say it was absolute chaos till you get to at least c class on a 1 to 2 mile track. but to be honest any time you go to a super speedway *it will be absolute chaos.*

oval racing can be rough, dont expect anything good until you have a 1800 irating, It used to be a 1500 was ok drivers in oval but now with all the new people its changed , I have a 1780 and man it has gotten a lot better
That about sums up iracing for me, pay monthly subscription, log in to do something new, pay the cost of a full sim title for one car and watch as the fortnite groupies play what they think is wreckfest while showing off to their mates.

LMFAO I've been taken out before the start finish line. This game is a better sim, but multiplayer is no different than Forza
To be a good oval racer, you need to know how to stay out of trouble and how to deal with lap traffic. Carburetor Cup is the worst racing experience on iRacing.

something is wrong with the game… with the point system and sr…. how in the earth i have 8-10x all because other hit me behind and literally not my fault not even 1% and finish with -0.20-50sr, but then there are some other guys, some of them that provoked accidents with more incident points than me and more than that ppl that get disqualified and they have lost less SR at the end ?!?!? how is this possible ? is iracing kind of rigged at this point ?

I just started Iracing and ive only tried the road class and in every race at the beginning someone crashes into me or if i am still alive and someone wants to pass me he is to aggressive and crashes into me even tho i give them enough space or at least i try my best

what you've mentioned the 200 laps race... to me it was a nightmare. there were so many cautions that the first 60 laps took 1+ hour. and as per CET the race started at 23:00. around 0:30 I went to the box and gave up :(

I am so impressed that someone finally at least wanted to get their monitors moving with the motion rig. When it doesn’t, you actually lose the VISUAL sense of how the car is moving, so adding the motion sim turns out to be a compromise.

My dude when I started iRacing I had a non FFB wheel hooked up to my desk (it sometimes came loose) and when I pressed the brakes my chair would sometimes move backwards. You have TWO amazing rigs. At this point do you enjoy the racing or the rig building? haha. Jokes aside, don't focus on having the best possible rig, just race race race!
Kinda agree this guy spends way to much (if anything since he gets a lot of sponsor and review stuff for free.) on his setup even tho he’s still basically a rookie. I’ve only just started iracing and I have a cheap Chinese unmarked rig with a wall mounted tv as my monitor, a moza r9 powering it all and I’m fairly consistent. I always get into the atleast the top 2-3 splits and usually always end it with a podium. Took me less than a week to get a B class road license with a mid tier rig (around 1500$)
