I did a workshop on beginning Tarot at our local Pagan pride day. There were some issues, but I learned so much from presenting! I will definitely volunteer to present again, and the tips that you share here are extremely helpful!
This was so incredibly insightful. I've never even rly thought seriously abt teaching orbworkshopping, but this has rly given me some inspiration. Your words have helped me to see that I, too, have insight and knowledge to offer the community
1:33 Thorn, in a doctoral program: "Like, what word do I want to use here, Thorn. Buttload." Have you considered writing a beginner's book/primer covering the topic in your This Land is Your Land workshop? Something for people who don't have access or the time to peruse 10-40 books to cover the subject.
Festivals are awesome. And I can’t tell you how often I’ve been at these events, attending workshops and not even realizing the presenter was a “big name” in the pagan community. I just thought the thumbnail of the class sounded interesting. Got great book recommendations out of it though 😊
I am loving these intersections between academics/academia and the witchy/pagan world. Thank you for this highly insightful advice!

Do you mind sharing your lessons learned? Also congrats on doing it at all! That's a big step
This inspired me to submit my first application to present! The feeling is delightful. Thank you for the nudge!
I’m so excited for you! You’re so welcome!

You totally do! 💙 I’m so glad this was helpful!
This makes me want to do a work shop on working with metal in witchcraft ( the material not the music lol. )
That would be so cool!
You had me interested until you said 'not the music'.
@@gastronomist fair.
@@bloodsweatandsteel.2749 Come to think of it, working with rock would cool.
@@gastronomist i agree. Most of my forged talismans I make while listening to heavy metal while working at the anvil! Really gets me in the zone!
I wish my area had more festivals/fairs. They are all at least 2.5hrs away.
Wow, great info. Thanks
You’re welcome!
Great watch! You are always so well spoken. I feel inspired and ready to submit a presentation. 😁
You would be perfect and any event would be lucky to have you 💙
