- Full Length video of Ministry playing at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California on December 23, 1992. Camera: Sony Handycam CCD-TR7. Shot in production of "Music from the Middle of Nowhere". Sorry that I didn't render the video to it's original quality. I have a MacBook and I couldn't find any video rendering program. Also, there are hiccups in the audio. Sorry about that as well.
I Was fortunate enough to see Ministry at Lollapalooza '92. Still the best show I've ever seen. They demolished RHCP hahaha.

I was there too. At the fairgrounds on fort bend county by Houston Texas. They were wayyyyy better than rhcp. Ministry is rad. Best Lollapalooza. Pearl jam was good too.

There is still no more brutal trio of live songs than the NWO to Missing to Deity with zero breaks. At this shows in Seattle just when you thought you were exhausted on the floor the energy kept going up with each transition. To me, it'll remain the single greatest gameplan by a band for a setlist ever. No breaks for 15 minutes and THEN we got Hero....I thought people were gonna die lol.

Helmet was ok, Ministry killed, but Sepultura was Godlike! Almost didn’t make it out of the pit.

So worked for BGP in 1995-97, this show was one the other guards talked about. One guy pulled someone out of the pit only to break his ankle on the way down. It was nuts.

Same in Minneapolis .. Ministry destroyed them.

Saw this tour in Lakeland Florida- drove down from Jacksonville- awesome! Although Helmet didn’t play, word going around was they had their equipment stolen the night before. Still one of the top 10 shows I’ve seen.
I vaguely remember that, can't recall any opening band, now it's botheting me. This is the show I went to, maybe Helmut played and I was just late.

Was this from the 2nd Lollapalooza? Ministry was the 2nd to last band, and insisted that they go on after dark. After they played, Red Hot Chili Peppers was the final band.
Helmet / Sepultura / Ministry... Pit was insane, I was right above the light board center stage.

Most people watching these vids never understand how LOUD this band was. It was insane. I was 20 when I saw them in an amphitheater during lollapalooza. I had to walk away as I had no ear plugs and had invested years into learning how to play guitar and drums and tried to protect my hearing. Within 2 songs I already started losing hearing in my left ear.
That is how loud is was. it actually hurt my chest because the bass was so powerful.
This is the safe way to experience them :)
