In this challenge I used onion juice on my hair for a week to see how effective onions are in reducing hair loss and hair shedding in only seven days and here is what I learned and discovered.
⚠️ WARNING: YOUR HAIR, CLOTHES, HANDS, AND PET WILL GET SMELLY!
Other than that onions can be used on any hair type however please do a test patch before use and avoid this onion treatment if you are allergic to onions or honey ⚠️
Tips that help to reduce the smell of onions on you:
Splash some mist or cologne after you’re done showering
Braid your hair to avoid smell on your face or hands
Wear gloves during each application
Select one piece of clothing to only use during application
Cover hair with a plastic bag, do not use anything else
You can put a towel on your pillow to protect the fabric getting smelly
🔆 How I applied onion juice on my hair for seven days 🔆
I always apply this hair treatment on dry detangle hair, then I use half a cup of onion juice from the main batch on each application. Remember every three days you need to make a new batch of onion juice. Then I apply the onion juice mostly on my scalp and if I have remains of this treatment, I use them on the rest of my hair. Cover my hair and wait for an hour. At the end I only rinse the onion juice treatment using only cool water. Air dry hair. Then repeat the same steps for the next seven days.
About my hair results you can see that my hair during this entire onion treatment never looked frizzy or dry at all. In fact this is how my hair looked at the end, insanely shiny, soft and very strong from the roots to the ends and if I run my fingers through my hair there is no excessive hair shedding.

Try a citus shampoo OR what i did eas squeeze half a lemon and rinse my hair with that. And that worked. Your haur might end up drying up because lemon is very acidic so it might dry out your hair so use like a hair moisturizer or serum in your haur after. Good luck.
I improved my hair by following all these things: Having more and more vitaminC from lemon, orange, kiwi, 7-8 hrs of adequate sleep daily, have nuts such as almonds, walnuts, or peanuts in limited, you can also have fish like salmon. Exercise a minimum of 30 mins daily. Using organic oil, neem wooden comb, scalp massager by liitleextra coconion twice a week. All this is good for hair fall control.

For those who r asking for the smell. They can add some drops of rosemary oil or lavender oil. The smell will vanish. It's my way to use the onion juice to get rid of smell. 🙂

Just add 6-7 drops of rosemary essential oil and 6-7 drops of lavender . Absolutely no smell!! Works wonders.

I made some onion, garlic, and rosemary oil and was smelling like a whole kitchen. I loved the results!
How did you make it
@@iqranoor6082 I am sorry I do not have exact measurements but, I blended 2 small to medium purple onions and 1/2 yellow onions, with several cloves of garlic and a couple sprigs of fresh rosemary. Using a double boiler I added coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, extra virgin olive oil, grapeseed oil, and black Jamaican castor and coffee bean oil. I added the blended ingredients to the double boiler for about 30 mins then transferred it to a glass jaw. I tried straining it before adding it to the oil, but was left with very little sediment because it blended soo fine. Nevertheless, I left it as is and whatever sediment remained settled on the bottom of the jar. This made the oil extremely strong...i tasted it!! I am still using it after almost 2 weeks and I can see a difference in the amount of hair fall. Please use whatever oils you have and do not be afraid to experiment and have fun with these concoctions! A Blessed hair journey to you!

This remedy works super fast, its insane. If you want your hair to grow longer faster and especially for hair loss and balding you need to try this. The only downside is that it smells horrible, but i mean it’s totally worth it if you are serious.

You only need to apply to scalp for the follicles to react. Depending on how often you wash your, 1 or 2 times a month will produce results. The smell is lessened with essential oils like rosemary or peppermint. I remember first round of treatments I didn’t use essential oils and when I stopped doing onion oil treatments it took 3 months for the smell to completely go. So something must reside in the follicles or sweat glands before it's expelled from the body. Hence why not necessary to do everyday.
What are your thoughts on putting it in shampoo? I've heard of people doing this and wondered if it would work that way too. I tried putting the juice directly on my scalp and it burned a bit....maybe I should've diluted it.

Yes. I’m finding it hard to get rid of smell! I did use rosemary and lavender but the smell seems to live UNDER the scalp. Now I’m trying ACV rinse to see if that helps.

Hii love, well I’m not here to sugar coat, but I used my green tea rinse three times to see if will remove smell after washing with shampoo and I didn’t. It’s been 2 weeks now and my hair still smell like onions if I sweat 🥴... maybe people said that the Apple cider vinegar helps but I’m not sure at this point... I think onion juice should only be applied to the roots because hair grows from root.
Instead of applicator bottle use cotton balls to apply, it's easy.For more growth do inversion method while the juice on.

Yup I agree with this treatment. I've shaved my head 2 months back and applied onion juice on scalp on a daily basis without any gap and shampooed once a week only and I swear the new hair are extremely strong. 😂 Obviously it was very easy for me to use on a shaved head and seeing you like this oh my god..that long hair.. it's too tiring 😌

Did your hair shedding increase on the first day when you applied onion juice or do you normally lose that amount of hair? I’m scared to start this because I feel like I’d lose more hair during the application than I normally do.
So on day one it’s just the normal amount of hair loss that I experience every time I wash my hair. And then on day seven I washes my hair with a shampoo again and my hair loss was way less than what you saw on day one. And about the application I barely lost hair which I was surprise since I normally loose a lot of hair when I apply hair mask 🙈

Thank you. I used it twice on alternative day and I could see 50% less hairfall. Hoping to do this for three weeks and more importantly hoping that the issue does not come back.

What if you have very short hair? Do you still need half a cup to put on? I find it drips a lot down my neck, shoulders and back. I use an old t-shirt to wrap around my neck or upper torso. But does one need so much onion juice concoction if they do not have long hair? What if they were shaved skin smooth? Would a thicker paste be better or that would irritate or burn the skin? Thank you.

No , let it rest for atleast 2 hrs n then rinse it off with a water mixed with lil bit of coffee to get rid of the pungent onion smell
Fun hack: Coffee gets rid of the smell of onions. Rub coffee grounds into your hair and wash with it. It will make your hair smell like coffee. From there you can use your regular shampoo
