Aloe Vera leaf has a toxic layer that should be eaten or applied. Please do your research to know how to use the gel of the leaf properly. Also onions is really acidic, and doesn’t seem right to put pure onion juice on the hair... so many medical esthetician’s and dermatologist say you shouldn’t do DIY’s and for many good reasons...

She chopped the onions, blend them without water and used a nut bag I think to extract the juice. She then prepared her hair with oil she made, adding butter or something to the ends while sectioning her hair. After, she applied the onion juice to her scalp and massaged it. She put on a conditioning cap and left for 2 hours then washed her hair.
I heard about this hair treatment in the Dominican Republic. My friend uses this hair treatment and it really works. My only concern is the smell of the onion.
You can add Pure Grade Essential oils to your onion water and it will help. A few of my fav Essential oils that I add to my products are Clary Sage, Thyme Vulgaris( not Thyme Thymol that's for different purposes) lemongrass, Ginger and Lavender.. They're are others that are awe too but these are easy to get and not to expensive. I dint use Peppermint oil for a few reasons but if it you like it? It's an option too.
Nice tips..I personally use my juicer machine for this process its much faster just dropping the whole onion in then catching the juice into my Mason jar then place it into the refrigerator until I'm ready to use it

(Edit 02/12/2020) I forgot to add, even though it's only been 3 weeks I've noticed my hair has gotten thicker in the back and I've retained more length to the point where my hair stretches to collar bone length. it should definitely get thicker in the next two months and more length should be retained. Hey hun, I use OGX coconut shampoo (i shampoo twice) and it gets the smell right out and i follow up with their conditioner then i rinse then i use megagrowth deep conditioner :)

Well when your blending your onions all you have to do is throw the oil into the blender and onion will blend up and when you finish you take a straightener and you strain it up and you got the onion juice oil

Anyone having problem with blending should use aloe vera as a substitute for water... that's what I do and it helps

My experience: after boiling the skins of one onion, the water immediately turned a rich deep golden hue (I used yellow onions) and reeked (LOL) of onion smell. Some UA-camrs use onion skins in water as a spritz while others use onion flesh in water or oil.
