- I got a rare week day off from work and decided to take advantage of it after the storms passed. the weather was rough and the wind was howling all day but I managed to put some reds on the skiff. I put the pen pursuit 6 to the test pulling reds out of docks. I cast netted bait as well as caught a bucket full of bandit crabs and struck out for Virginia creek as well as another unnamed creek. the trick was getting the bait under docks or upstream from the dock where the scent could drift into the dock luring the reds out. it's nice having the skiff back in the water for days like this when the wind is blowing a Gail and there's a small craft advisory. I could have managed in the hobie craft but wouldn't have been able to cover the ground I did in the skiff. hope yall enjoy the video and don't forget to like and Subscribe!
