කුඩා දරුවන්ට කතා කරන්න උදව් වෙමු (How to develop speech-language skills of toddlers | Path to Voice

Hello,
In this video I am talking about how to develop the speech and language skills of young children. Here are some tips for you, to develop speech and language skills of your toddler.
1. Spend at least 30 minutes a day with your child. Children doesn’t need branded toys or branded clothes. What they value most is the time you spend with them.
2. Stimulatory activities are essential for brain development. Communication skills won’t improve if they are just isolated with a huge load of toys. They need interaction to learn and master the new skills.
3. Imitation of the sounds of vehicles and animals while playing, allows your child to improve the babbling skills. You can introduce words together with sounds. Imitation of sounds will help your child to generate little words.
4. Use gestures and facial expression when talking to your child. Non-verbal communication can assist your young learner to understand the message well.
5. When you talk to your child, speak slowly. That can help him/ her to listen to you and understand well. Also this will teach your child, the correct rate of speech and this strategy will assist your kid to maintain the fluency of speech.
6. Add extra stress to key words, when talking to your child. This strategy will help your child to learn new vocabulary and master them.
7. Talk to your child in short sentences. Then your child can understand them easily as well as, he/ she can reuse these small sentences when they are talking.
8. Singing and storytelling help your child to learn new words. So sing with your child daily. Read a story to your child before sleep every day.

4. ඔබේ දරුවා සමඟ කතා කිරීමේදී අභිනයන් සහ මුහුණේ ඉරියව් භාවිතා කරන්න.
5. ඔබ ඔබේ දරුවා සමඟ කතා කරන විට, සෙමින් කතා කරන්න. එය ඔහුට / ඇයට ඔබට ඇහුම්කන් දීමට සහ හොඳින් තේරුම් ගැනීමට උපකාරී වේ.
6. ඔබේ දරුවා සමඟ කතා කරන විට ප්රධාන වචන වලට අමතර ආතතියක් එක් කරන්න.
7. ඔබේ දරුවා සමඟ කෙටි වාක්යයකින් කතා කරන්න. එවිට ඔබේ දරුවාට ඒවා පහසුවෙන් තේරුම් ගත හැකිය.
8. ගායනය සහ කතන්දර ඔබේ දරුවාට නව වචන ඉගෙන ගැනීමට උපකාරී වේ.
